THESE PEOPLE BRAZENLY STEAL FROM NDIS CLIENT'S FUNDS. The Salt Foundation are simply a pack of predatory and unbelievably exploitative criminals - the culture and extent of their extreme abuse is pure psychopathy, demolishing individual's lives so as to fund their "Christian charity".

I am disgusted by the quality of service from salt. 5 years I’ve been with them and the first few years were great. Robyn was my rock. But then she could no longer come and since then it’s been a nightmare. No solid support worker, I was meant to have 5 days a week, but salt only gave me 3. I’ve had to go with Farris Care for the other 2 days because salt can’t organise themselves. Support workers aren’t very supportive. I’ve had worker’s criticise me for not having children, being anxious and upset or doing things like personal errands while they are with me. Even bringing their children to the appointment. And I’m too nice to say anything, but now I am. Adele is hard to get a hold of, especially when workers are incredibly late to appointments. I’m sick of this. You’re meant to make my life easier, NOT HARDER. I’m so upset and anxious right now.

Unprofessional and clearly workers out of their depth.

Since I have been with salt my life has changed for the better. I know this would never have happen otherwise. Good to be involved with a non profit Cristian organisation that about people not profit.

I'm lucky enough to work at SALT. Because of my disability (I have bipolar disorder) this is the second full-time job I've had in my life and my last one was in 2001. SALT is a great place to work with a caring, family vibe. I find that the behind-the-scenes team, the support coordinators, the support workers, and participants all contribute to the culture of SALT as an innovative NDIS provider and charity.

I have been working for SALT for the last 2 years, and my participants have helped me keep my sanity and I have done the same for them. The company is committed to helping people in any way they can.

I had an excellent experience meeting Mr Roger. He is very helpful and down to earth person.
The clients and workers are fully supported and guided at Salt foundation.

Salt is a great community and NDIS provider.
Giving lots of support to the community and there are lots of excellent support workers to provide professional support to their NDIS participants.
Everyone at the Salt Foundation is so kind and lovely. They even provide the service beyond they supposed to do. For instance, the Salt kindly paid an expensive NDIS participant's personal bill on behalf of the participant, as the participant couldn't afford it. Thank you guys, you are amazing!

The Salt foundation is doing a wonderful work helping most vulnerable members of the community. The Alice house run by the foundation is right in the middle of Heidelberg west supporting local community in so many crucial areas of daily living. They also work with NDIS participants all over Melbourne and have a great team working hard to provide quality support and service. Great work!

If you are looking for help and support you won’t find it here. They haven’t gotten back to me for three weeks now. In the meantime I’ve been contacting people on Mable, and found a potential support worker myself.

There’s plenty of people there for you to choose from with profiles of their experiences and interests!

Hopefully this helps people get the help they need.

Cheerio! ️

Edit:

If you think wanting a female support worker under 40 that’s interested in fitness and sports “very specific”.

Also for anyone wanting support without waiting around for who knows how long, I can recommend another platform, Hireup! As long as you’re with the NDIS, it’s easy to sign up! Both Mable and Hireup have an app you can use as well, which is user friendly.

Very much appreciated especially in these days of social distancing. They provide good meals to those who reach out. A very caring organisation highly recommended

Great people helping the local community with food parcels and weekly meals the do a tremendous job with no real reward. I for one solute them specially the founding members husband and wife that do the bulk of the work. The also run a small Christian gathering at Alice House weekly. Well done guys for all your work in this area.

A loved one was extremely traumatised by a so called support worker. Not only did the support worker drive dangerously by going at 60kmph in a 100 kmph zone, she kicked my loved one to the kerb for suggesting that she drive at the limit and pretty much did her very best to undo a year of therepy. I had to take multiple days off work to as a result of this and the foundation kind of just expects an apology with sooth things over. Don't use if you want to keep your sanity.

Beware worker Sandra, act in control, intimidating, rude and disrespectful. Induce anxiety attacks and threaten you leave if you don't follow her rules. I m so depressed Salt foundation claim she is a "support worker". Disrespectful. So sad so depressing. Horrible experience from SALT FOUNDATION.not sure why NDIS ALLOWS FUNDING FOR SUCH UNPROFESSIONAL WORKER.
