It took 50minutes to get the garlic bread that was cold and burnt. My friends nachos were stone cold. Mains arrived at the 70 minute mark with the salmon undercooked. The serving of chips was small. The waitress was cold and uttered minimal words. Disappointing as lunchtime service is completely different. Embarrassingly bad tonight.

Good little local:) It was like 40 degrees the morning we went in and the beer was bloody nice and cold thank god!

Worst experience I've ever had at a pub. Manager and staff were unprofessional and incredibly rude. All were standing in the batr talking, running around, pointing and laughing at patrons. Extremely unhelpful. Meals were horrible. Avoid!

Absolutely rude publican deserves everything he gets. Can't make his mind up on prices. Send the boys in next time for fair prices!

I had lunch there today with 2 lady friends, we three had grenadier fish with carrots, scalled potatoes which was yummy, peas and pumpkin with lemon no tartare sauce as neither of us three like it! Enjoyed it, it was lovely.

Recommend the Risotto (Picture) or The Chicken Royale … You won’t be disappointed

I had said I wouldn't bother eating here again after a few bad experiences. BUT. I'm so pleased we ended up there this time on 13th February, 2022 (not by my choice) because the meals were the best pub meals we've had. This new chef, though young (we got to meet him to say thanks) is excellent. Highly recommend to all, adding that all staff are fantastic.

Our Kiwanis Service Club has dinner meetings twice monthly and we haven't had a bad meal yet. Very good well proportioned meals at reasonable prices. Overall a good friendly, family place to enjoy a meal.

Went for lunch ordered roast pork -was served roast beef that was tough as an old boot. Very disappointing. 1 star.

Nice meal. Not enough staff to service tables etc. Had to some of our own work, was a birthday party. Host had to keep filling the jugs. Meal same as you would cook at home but nice enough.

Asked for a barramundi and salad paid $25 and got a tiny slice of barramundi and chips. Carrots in the salad was plain and almost yellow. Wow waited nearly an hour for this no thanks never again

This is third time we've èaten here. First two times were awesome. Tonight unfortunately the food was disappointing. We were first meals out yet chicken snitty was soggy, lamb cutlets weren't cooked properly and tasted microwaved, and Carrots and pumpkin were so badly burnt they were inedible.

It, s such a very nice historical pub with all the photos of the place back in the past, as early as 1917.

Good meal and a free drink when mine was knocked over first time this has happened in any venue

He came and unlocked a side entrance for us because I had a walker. The staff were were fantastic. The meal was so big and the steak was melt in the mouth. Definately go back. Heather and Val.

A great country pub. Spirits at genuine 1982 prices as well! The meals are great and they have a wall of Richmond football club memrobilia so what more could you ask for?

Relaxed atmosphere and lovely staff. The menu ranged from the cheaper lunch time specials to something a little more substantial. Not noisy and is very spacious.

Food was great, very well priced for both food and drinks, Trevor and staff will look after you very well, great friendly pub, best in Mooroopna!
