The Rose Street Artists’ Market reviews
47Christian and team run excellent events/markets. I've been a stallholder selling organic honey as my side-hustle with these guys for over a year now, and I'm constantly impressed with their people skills, and how well their markets are run. Lots of the supposed 'bigger' markets could really take lessons off these guys in how to treat their stallholders. Excellent service, excellent organisation and delegation, and highly affable. If you are thinking about selling your wares for the first time, get on board, you won't regret it. These guys run the best markets in Victoria, and we are now dropping the markets with a heavy corporate/by the book feel to come on with these guys in a much great greater capacity. Thanks guys, and keep up the amazing work, it is very appreciated! Drew (Paul's Healthy Honey).
Cute little market with many small designers and their wares. There are some lovely little trinkets you can purchase here and it’s a lovely place to visit on the weekend
I recommend a visit every six months so that some of the stalls change their goods and ownership. The market can only benefit from the new Fitzroy Mills market across the road
Great lil markets! Soko ceramics are my favourite stall with such incredible handmade pieces by the loveliest owner.they're so unique and i've gifted many to excellent reactions.there's much surrounding transport but it's in the heart of fitzroy so prepare that parking won't be great.close to heaps of great food too!
Everytime I go for a quick look around u end up walking out having purchased at least a few things. Always full of amazing artists and businesses!
Very nice place.
Creative items and very friendly people?
Its very close to Fitzroy market as well
Large handicraft and art market, located in Rose Street Fitzroy.
In the same street as the Fitzroy Mill markets.
So it ma the trip worth while
The Rose st market is a must visit! Lovely local made artwork and bespoke jewelry, an amazing cafe on site and friendly faces all around!
There markets are colourful, creative and inspiring. They've recently been expanded to across the road to include fresh and organic fruit and veg markets. The food and coffee at RISO the Market Cafe.wow.it is THE BEST COFFEE IN MELBOURNE. And the Risotto and Pastas are out of this world. It's all happening here on Saturdays and some Sundays. I love the local feel. Do yourself a favour, grab a coffee, walk the up-market markets and enjoy a beautiful relaxing afternoon. If you love markets, these are a sure-fire-win! Everything to love about Fitzroy - good coffee, good community, creative vibes, all in an afternoon:) see you soon!
Always interesting and friendly store holders. We bought hand crafted ear rings. Great coffee nearby
All very relaxing and nice to have a wonder around here. Hard to get parking though so best to get a tram
Nice market with local craft products (woman accessories, children wear, art pieces etc)
We spent about 15mins casually browsing through the place.
Great place to wander on the weekend browsing and buying some pretty cool handmade gear, before queuing up for a croissant at Lune
Lots of great local arts, clothing, cards, jewelry etc. Always like the range of stuff there though I find it is alot of the same stalls week ijn week out so only tend to go once a month. Not big but easy way to kill an hour. Check out Kacey at Louie and The Fox. Coolest baby wear ever!
Nice artist weekend market; however wish there is more varieties in they sell. I visited the market 2yrs ago and this time they are still selling similar things
It was so cool! Bought a handmade collar for my cat and the people were really friendly. Will recommend. Loved looking at the stalls.
The Rose Street Artists’ Market is totally dedicated to a handycraft. You can find anything unique and exotic right here. The only problem is the price - majority of exhibited items you can purchase online from Amazon for at least 3 times cheaper. Yes, it won't be handmade, but sometimes it's hard to distinguish.
Anyway, this place is worth to visit and get some inspiration for your home design.
Such a happy place with great quality work. My favourite stand is Kalptaru, art prints and amazing textiles by the lovely Divya.
A delight of original and unique offerings - a little aesthetic indulgence of the senses pre or post brunch
Awesome artist's market with lots of food and coffee nearby as well. Great place to walk around and buy a few boutique items and browse the different shops.
