Love your pizza but why are you closed (Saturday 2pm) when your sign and the internet says you are open. Unhappy.

Ordered delivery on a busy as saturday night. Not only did it come 15 mins earlier then expected but it was delicious and still hot as if it had just come out of the oven.

Great job as always guys!

Barber by the Bay next door put me on to you guys.
Lunch special pizza and drink under $8 is best deal.

Average food and average customer service.

It was a chicken pizza, but I could barely find chicken in it and there was more pineapple instead.

The restaurant was supposed to be open till the night, but it was 2: 30pm and the guy there said he wanted to close the restaurant, so I had to finish my lunch asap, made it stressful.

The staff was too rude not so friendly atmosphere.
I regreted for going there.
I haven't expected they disappointed alot

New to the area. Woman behind counter seemed to not care if i ordered dinner there or not. No smile, no hello, no thank you.just a it will be 15 minutes. I ordered a $10.50 meat lovers. Cook smiled and handed me my order. I appreciated his sense of pleasure in offering me his creation. He sounded French or Italian. Pizza hot and it had enough meet on it to take half it off and make a couple sandwiches for lunch. May go back for a simpler pizza next time I'm in town.

Guys, you do great food but your delivery times are bad. I’ve ordered via Menulog tonight and you are not keeping to time. If you want to offer a delivery service you need to get this right or you will lose customers. I’m a regular and have decided I’m done. Will not use you again.

Poor customer service the lady was rude and unprofessional and did not even greet us.
Pizza was stale with hardly any toppings. Garlic bread was burnt and hard. Plenty of better pizza places in Altona.

What can I say, I have been a regular customer for a number of years. Pizza has been up and down but these guys have got it mastered now, great!

Best pizza in the area, friendly staff who remember you and appreciate regulars
delicious base and decent quality toppings and excellent lunch deals, these guys are really good with complicated orders and I've never had an issue, we ordered half a dozen pizza's, all of them had extras or half n half and not one single stuff up.
Working 5 minutes drive away we usually order, a few minutes before lunch, drive down and have our pizza ready sitting on top of the oven.

Since a change of owners, The Pizza Box Altona has improved considerably. They're no longer likely to run out of things, the staff is much happier, friendlier, and always up for a laugh.
The new owners have vision, ambition, drive, consideration, and manners. They have since I first wrote this review refurbished the store with much newer, cleaner, and appealing design. The menu has been cleaned up and decluttered, although a couple of my favorites are now missing from the menu unfortunately, but they werent big sellers, so that's understandable.
The previous owner had extremely poor people skills, was often rude, condescending, offensive, arrogant, a bully and just generally a poor businessman. To the point of even threatening to "bash me" in an attempt to force me to take down this review, because of it's honesty.
I'd like to note that whilst the food has also improved, unfortunately the pizza's are currently inconsistent, based both on personal experience, and from the reviews. The earlier you order, the better your pizza will be most likely.
Personally, I do feel prices for Pizza's have gotten a little high for what you're ourchasing in recent times, but this applies to most of the take-out and restaurant industry. Almost $15 though, is too much, especially as they're not that expensive to make in my experience.
Fortunately, with new owners don't take stock from this shop to supply others, like the previous owner did, and they're quick to try and find ways to improve, rather than dismissing any concerns raised.
I believe that with time, and with continued local support, The Pizza Box will become the staple pizza place for families throughout Altona.

Grabbed a quick pizza there recently, was tasty thanks. There are a few tables for eating in. Also 1 or 2 tables out on the footpath. The cook was super cheery saying hello to everyone. Prices fine. Service quick.

Had lunch with my Chef on a hot day.pizza was great and good value for money.will be back. 5 stars.

Mahyo is made up of 75% junk food and 25% coffee. Of the junk food, Mahyo eats Pizza on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. These days are chosen because they are spelt the longest to write more characters in Mahyo Review. On the other days Mahyo eats at Fish and Chip which is two stores down. Those chips are golden and cooked to perfection. Mahyo does laundry on Sunbay.

Went here for the first time yesterday, and from my experience I will definitely recommend to others and go back soon, fast delivery of food, quality tasting pizza and friendly staff.

The food and service here has changed for the better, these guys care about what they are serving and it shows.

Pizza was great, not very oily and quite affordable. Bases were nice and light too, customer service also fantastic. Will buy again:)

What a waste of money, pizzas where very bland margarita was the worst i have ever tasted. For 1st time customers itll be the last till i order from here.

These guys have nailed it, sensational. You can tell it's going to be good by the aroma when you walk in the place.
