The Pita Man reviews
51Beautiful space and most delicious falafel and pitas! Often buy extra pita to take home and freeze. Nothing compares - love it!
Honestly, the freshest and tastiest falafel outside of Israel! Excellent customer service as well.
The food here is fantastic and so fresh but more than that the service is outstanding. Today I bought 20 felafel balls and dropped them on my way to the car. When I went back in to buy more the refused to let me pay. I begged, they said absolutely not. What great people! Highly recommend
Best falafel pita I’ve ever had, hands down. Everything is so fresh and made in-house. One of my favourite places. There are no bad options here
I recently dined at The Pita Man, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The waiting time for our food was unreasonably long, and when it finally arrived, it was disappointingly cold. This was a major letdown, as I had high hopes for a satisfying meal.
The prolonged wait not only tested our patience but also raised concerns about the efficiency of the kitchen. It's disheartening to see such a fundamental aspect of a restaurant's service fall short. Additionally, the temperature of the food was far from satisfactory, highlighting a lack of attention to detail in the kitchen.
While I understand that busy periods can lead to delays, it's crucial for any establishment to prioritize delivering a quality dining experience. In this instance, that standard was unfortunately not met.
I hope that Tha Pita Man takes this feedback constructively and strives to improve their service for future patrons.
Calling this food israeli is blatant thievery. Everyone on earth knows hummus, tahini, shakshuka etc etc your entire menu is from Palestine and other arab countries. I wouldn’t spend a cent on this rip off
I've just eaten one of the best meals I've had in many months. The staff tell me my bento box was made by Jay. Everything was amazing, but the cauliflower was next level! Thank you Jay for an outstanding dinner:)
Best pita I had in ages. Fresh fluffy and separate as it should. Yamm. Great box to sort the family dinner. The chips is well seasoned, the falafel has the right taste and crunch. The hummus is smooth. 5 star from me over all. The guys were also cheerful and helpful to make a decision.
I stumbled across this out of the blue and have been in love since day 1. This place deserves honest reviews. Such a beautiful place with fresh homemade items on the menu. Absolutely in love with the falafels and the pita pocket as it has become one of my top most go to comfort food on any day. The owner and the staff are lovely and so is the food.
The Pita bread is incredibly light and delicious.
I love the Tunisian spiced cauliflower.
Thank a lot for potato man, the food was amazing and tasty, tye crew been really sweet and friendly
When you order take away of Israeli salad…. This is so far removed from Israeli salad. It contains mainly cucumber and a few pieces of lettuce and minute pieces of tomato peel. Not to mention it has no dressing AT ALL. VERY DISAPPOINTING to be honest
We absolutely loved The Pita Man and will definitely be back. Everything was delicious and super fresh.
We ordered the Israeli Bento Box.
It's What's Good!
The best restaurant in Melbourne!
Super vegan friendly, everything fresh and tasty.
Very clean!
The staff was nice and welcoming.
A great restaurant! Everything tastes good, fresh products and just so authentic. Not pricy, and the atmosphere is also nice when you dine in. Can’t recommend it enough.
For the first time I tried Jewish fast food in Melbourne. I did expect a burst of flavours, but.just another meidocre eatery.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great Falafel and salads. Will be back. Loved my green Falafel pita so much, I will be back
Served by a lady that could not care less, which reflected the bland food I think who were cooked by people who do not care. This was not real Israeli food. For the price of the food, it did not live up to its expectations.
Israeli salad was missing three out of four ingredients, not dressing, no taste, not fresh.
Hummus too water.
Pita bread was nice.
I used to live in the city and go to Just Falafs in Fitzroy.now this one is local as i moved to Caulfield.the falafel pita is ok but in comparison to Just falafs is less in quantity and the yumminess but I’ll still keep visiting. Wish if you can do falafel with cauliflower and halloumi
Wow how good was that. Falafel pocket prepared to perfection with the added suprise of the most delicious chips as a side order. Cracker of a meal. With the exception of the supplied cutlery the Pita Man was impeccably clean with wonderful service thrown in for good measure. A must must must visit.
