The Pier Geelong

Attended for a wedding. Bar tender Michael was very polite and professional. Most staff really nice. Food was mediocre. Enclosed deck for wedding ceremony had no air circulation and was basically a greenhouse.

Great venue for events. This one was a conference event but weddings would be amazing here too

Performed at a wedding here in April. Amazing (huge!) space with great views of Corio Bay. Food excellent, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Been coming here for years, love sitting out here especially at night, watching the lights. Great place to sit & eat or have a fish. Always friendly people around, ready for a chat

Good service from the staff. The function hall has a very modern look. The food is excellent. The couches in waiting area need to be binned, the only reason the place didn't earn five stars.

A very calm atmosphere and a view. You can park the car inside the pier and its like going into the sea. Picnic area is nice and clean. Make sure to bring a picnic mat with you.

Held my wedding here last summer. Views were second to none and our experience with staff was excellent from the beginning planning stages to the night. We have beautiful, fond memories of this place.

Went to a Christmas Party tonight held at The Pier, food was AMAZING, staff was so lovely! Gorgeous venue!

This is our local with great views, summer vibes and awesome restaruants! Lots of parking too. Highly recommend

While the food for normal diets looked amazing, the caterer for our function struggled with the special diets: pack some snacks

A magnificent location, well presented facilities. Attended a sponsored formal dinner (sponsored by Caterpillar). The staff were great, the food was fantastic, while the atmosphere was tremendous.

Entrees were pumpkin gnocchi and barramundi, while the mains were chicken and eye fillet.

The bar above is quiet pleasant and the whole area is a nice place for a quiet stroll, a vigorous walk or jog.

I attended my cousins wedding here. The venue is ok and there is a nice view through the dirty windows. The food is atrocious. The steak was tough enough to make footballs out of. Give this pier a wide berth!

Thank you for the response. I was not Robinson Crusoe in my complaints with the steak, the complaint was universal across all guests who ended up with it, hence the reason the Groom and his father had to make a complaint on the night. It was not simply a case of it not being cooked to my specific tastes, it was as tough as leather. It was over cooked.

A sensational location for an event. Held a work/corporate event here and feedback was really good. Alana was a great help through the night, and was only too happy to assist wherever possible.
Have another event planned for here again already.

The Pier and Geelong foreshore are amazing.
Beautiful to take a picnic lunch or just eat at one of the many restaurants. At night the view is spectacular.

I went down to the pier to peer into the sea, but as I peered there was nothing to see except me peering into the sea. Oh and a car park on the pier but you'll need Peerage to get a spot.

Iconic part of Victorian shipping history. Well worth a visit. Plenty to do with parks, eateries and walking along the beautiful foreshore.

Great venue for a business event, wedding or special occasion! The packages are flexible and tailored to your needs! Highly recommend! And the views- absolutely stunning! A great point of difference to traditional boxed in venues! The natural light is something else!
