Everything from the Burger to the interiors to the service was on point! Loved the 'Holy jalapeno' and 'southsider' burgers
The bun was perfect, the patties were juicy and the sauces complement all the flavours. Would love to be back here for a good burger

Good burgers but the standout for us was the fried chicken. Very good portion sizes and service was good. Onion rings was also another standout. Will be back to try the others.

Dangerously good. I just don't know where to start. The burgers here are so delicious and well made, you can taste the mastery of flavours.

Not just your humble burger here, you'll be seriously surprised at how mind blowing and sawcy these dishes be.

Run by a couple of lovely lassies, heard through the vije, they are hospitality consultants and teamed up to create this passion project. As a foodie, this is legitimised by the experience and praise be we have The Pickle and The Patty Diner. Whoar!

The Holy Jalapeno is by far the best burger I've ever had. That sauce is fantastic and the staff are wonderful!

Newest addition in south Melbourne serving burgers and milkshakes. The place is decorated with the look & feel of an American diner place. The beef burger I ordered had soft buns and juicy patties but it was on the smaller side and the sauce had a strong bbq flavour. The chicken burger and the buffalo wings are pretty good but it doesn't blow your mind.

Been wanting to try out pickle and patty since they were at the Market Hotel, but they opened up a new store on Clarendon St now!

Got the PICKLE CLASSIC and cheeky fries as a side and the burger was tasty. It's defo a much better burger than the red-flame-y burger store on the City Rd.

The serving size was decent and menu items came out quickly. Will come back to try out other burgers.

So thrilled to see these ladies back at it again on Clarendon Street - the news digs are classy, retro American Diner and the atmosphere is welcoming, bustling & homey. Plenty of old favs on the menu (can't beat the classics with house made pickles!) plus some fun new things like loaded icecreams, chicken trays & spiked shakes.vego options galore & very reasonably priced. Top craft beer selection & friendly service, as always. South Melbourne has been crying out for a bangin' lil burger joint and it's great to see small businesses like this one bringing great vibes back to the area. Highly recommend!

One of the best plant based burgers I've had. They use a Byron Bay patty and we had chips with an excellent seasoned gravy for dipping. Delicious. Great wine choices (and ethical ones!) and of course a yummy side of pickles! Very excited to stumble on this one.

The vegan wowpper burger I had was nice, though it's hard to go wrong with a Beyond patty. Still unsure why it costs $2 extra ($23 total) to use plant cheese and plant mayo/sauce, especially when there are other burgers with twice the number of patties and cheese for $21. Seems like a bit of a rip off and opportunistic.

Chips could have done with some more salt, but we were able to grab a salt grinder from the bar so all good. Took about 30 minutes to come out but we were in no rush.

Hands down, the BEST vegetarian burger I have ever had! The texture of the mock patty, deliciously grilled, the smokey mock cheese, the house made pickles.do yourself the biggest favour and check. It. Out.
Oh and a side of hush puppies if you're feeling like you want to treat yourself (and you should) was such a treat, thankyou 6o the lovely ladies in the kitchen:) I will be back soon for my window to weight gain

I like this place, the environment is good, like a hipster sports bar, unfortunately out of the 3 times I've been, the chef has only toasted the cut side of the bun once, this is a mortal sin in burger making.

Next time

On a mission to eat all of the burgs, every single one of them absolutely hits the spot. Heaps of vegan and vego options as well that are substantial and exciting. Just attended their Bikini Bottom Seafood Degustation, MIND BLOWN 5-6 courses from lobster rolls, krabby pattys, plankton fries and our very own pineapple under the sea dessert! Loved the ginger infused watermelon rind as a palette cleanser! Had no idea what is was until I asked but I would happily ate a bowl of them like popcorn.

Absolutely awesome place, Alan the bartender was extremely friendly and a legend, espresso martini was the best I've ever had. Highly recommend

Hands down the best burgers in Melbourne. Im not usually a fan of pickles but these are delicious!

Walked in, there was 1 staff member and they were very disinterested. After a minute of awkwardly reading the menu in silence I left. Felt weird not to get even a "Hey" or "Hello" or anything.

Hands down the BEST burgers I've had in Melbourne. I literally delayed going vegan until after I could have one last holy jalapeno burger because its that good.

Favourite burgers we've had in Melbourne. I accidently ordered a vegetarian burger once and still loved it! We've moved house and are unfortunately outside of the delivery zone so we drive there to order now. Highly recommend. The beef patties are cooked to perfection and arent processed rubbish. The bagons crispy and you just can't go wrong.

The best burgers in Melbourne! Do yourself a favour and try it for yourself. Every burger we’ve ever had from Pickle and Patty has been delicious down to the very last bite. And don’t even talk about their onion rings OMG. In the words of Nike - JUST DO IT!
