The Peninsula Hotel

One poor girl to serve meals, drinks and take care of a function that was on. Ordered Nachos, but they didn't have it, so changed to kids meal of pizza and chips, seriously the size was disgraceful.half a small pizza and handful of chips all of which were cold. Thankfully I ordered a salad so expected it to be cold. We have eaten here a number of times, this was the worst we have had.
The children's play area requires work, it has clearly never been cleaned since the flooding in there as it smells mouldy. Also a dead cockroach in the helicopter. Such a shame as itcould be a very successful hotel.

It has been two hours, and still, no food. What more can I say?
Stop taking people’s money. I realize that you only have one chef, which is absolutely ridiculous, but I can understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances happen. However, you should have backup plans for these issues. You've just turned a family of 45 of us who booked in for my son's 18th Birthday, the one and Only Night, into a complete Disaster!

Get your act together and start turning people away at the door. There is an idea.

Had the BBQ beef brisket burger. Burger was very nice. Venue has an awesome view and amazing location. Sonja helped choose my drink and was delightful. Definitely coming back soon.

Over priced meals wife's chicken was pink and when we told the wait staff they asked the chef for them to say that it was cooked told them about the blood and yellow stain in men's room and took them over 30 mins to go look

The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was nice. It is child friendly with a playground.

Last night went here for my brothers birthday dinner
First off we ordered our meals at about 6: 20 to not receive them till 7: 45
When me and my older sister got our meals (chicken keiv) we had cut into the middle of it and saw it was completely raw on the inside (I’m 35 weeks pregnant) we had sent them back to get remade but then was told they had completely ran out of chicken so we decided to get our money back
This place has definitely gone down hill

First time we've been here in 20yrs.
Our meals were served quickly and both cooked just the right amount.
I had the salmon, my wife chose Chicken Kiev.
The girl who served us came and checked how the meals were and if we were happy.
Great service.
We'll be back regularly because it's local.

Great menu, chicken schnitzel was absolutely beautiful and very fresh. The cob loaf was a little different from a few weeks ago, but it’s so fresh and really easy to cut now. Family loved all meals thanks, meals are better than they have ever been

It's a great place to go to with the fellas, have a nice little feed and some beers (needs american beers) listen to some rough lookin sheila screech on the mic during karaoke, have some wasp tell you their life story in the small smoking area and just watch the creatures roll in. Their is a bus that can drop you home or close enough.it's not a a bad place. Pokies room has a depressing Vibe but then again most do right? I met and saw the Slap King there and it was an absolute Privilege cheers guys.

Stopped in on the way to Ocean Grove. Got the Tuesday special Parma. I had God save the Queen the Misses had Meat lovers. Very nice and we'll priced. Beer was nice and cold Definitely will be back.

I didn’t stay here in the motel but I went for dinner here with my partner and child. Honestly couldn’t have been more disappointed in the food and staff.
I ordered beef lasagna and couldn’t even eat it. It was burnt on top and rock hard. Tasted disgusting. My daughter had nuggets and chips and her nuggets were a little pink and tasted disgusting. My partner has a parmi and it was so dry.

Staff didn’t smile once the whole time we were there for dinner.

Playroom was disgusting and very dirty. My partner complained about a group of kids that had broken some stuff and were being very naughty and asked staff if they could speak to the parents of the kids as it was really not good and okay. These kids tried hurting my daughter while she was playing in the ball pit. I ended up having to go in and tell them off as their parents weren’t doing anything to control their kids and the staff didn’t seem to care.

We ended up leaving pretty much all our food that we spent $70 on and ended up at Maccas for more food since we were all super hungry.

Honestly wouldn’t recommend going here at all unless you want to feel sick and have a horrible night.

Gnocci tastes different, very bland, had to add heap of salt for any sort of flavoring. Staff were wonderful like always, but play area isnt for kids under 12 like stated, older kids use it and are rough as anything. Overall hubby and kids enjoyed their meals

I had my 70th birthday celebration here on the 15th of October and nothing was too much, the staff on the night were pleasant and cheerful, the food was great and enjoyed by the family and friends. Service was prompt and well done, all in all we had a great time and we won't hesitate to celebrate here in the future. Thank you to all at the Peninsula hotel great venue.

Taylor served us, he had the best customer service I have seen in a while and he made sure we all had good food and all of our food was all good! This has made my day! Very good job!

We attended a group birthday party, the service was great, the quality of the meals was excellent, with short waiting times. Highly recommend for future gatherings. And later on we had fun with karaoke, the guy doing the karaoke is a people person and gets everyone involved for a great experience.

Everyone ordered as close together as possible (difficult since you have to queue up and wait with everyone as they don’t take your order) probably about an hour between the first and land meal coming to the table. Ordered the garlic prawns as a side for $8 which included 3 frozen prawns and a weak sauce. My partner ordered the porterhouse which came out well done instead of medium - there was no point sending it back because it would’ve taken another hour. The size of the chicken schnitzels was widely different between some of us that ordered them. But at least the band sucked and had to use a vocal backing track to try and pretend like they could sing. They sung happy birthday 3 times to no one because I don’t think they actually know more than a couple songs. Highly recommend bringing someone out to dinner here if you really hate them!

I ordered a chicken Kiev but it had garlic butter on top of the chicken Kiev it wasn't what I was expecting

Service with a smile and the food was great also. Bar service was good and very conversational.
