The Path of the Horse reviews
7 I have only been to the beautiful landscape that leads me to The Path of the Horse a few times due to surgeries keeping me away but l am very eager to go back and meet all the horses again and particularly the exceptional Mr George.
He has captured my heart and soul from the very first day, with his tender loving nudges that he provides, restores my confidence, while creating peace, joy, faith and love within that l was missing.
Looking forward to my horse hugs xx
A safe haven to learn, reset, and begin to recover. The herd will provide the therapy, if you provide the opportunity. Open your mind to the journey, and the journey will open itself to you. I can't speak highly enough of the therapists, the family, or the herd. This isn't the place we wanted, but it is certainly the place we needed.
POTH has been wonderful for our son. He loves every minute he spends there. All the staff we have spoken and worked with are all so lovely and supportive. So glad we found them.
The staff at The Path of the Horse are absolutely amazing. They are 100% committed to their clients, they go above & beyond to provide the level of care that they do (with no b.s) and they feel more like family than therapists. My family and I love coming here for our equine therapy sessions.
I’m gonna be forever grateful for what Dean and The Path of the horse has done for my partner. My partner is a retired veteran suffering with PTSD. Since going there he’s in a much better head space and absolutely enjoying life again.
I strongly recommend anyone needing clarification on their inner demons and struggles to make the time to visit Dean and the team at the Path. I was blown away by the kindness and welcoming nature of this remarkable place. What you guys do for veterans, their families and people in need in general is amazing and words wouldn’t be enough to explain the impact your services have had on me already. I am counting down the next time I can come and have a session. The impact these beautiful animals have on ones psychological state is phenomenal and I have learnt so much already. Thank you so very much dean and team for being so family orientated and so supportive of newcomers. 10/10 ️
I’ve had just 2 visits to POTH so far. The facilities are excellent, the setting picturesque. I felt comfortable with Equine Therapist Dean right away, he’s a great listener and facilitator. His love for his herd of 14 really shows, and they show him love in return. I have spent some time with Badger, herd leader, with his off-sider, Montana, and young Belle. The time seems to just disappear while I have just gently interacted with them. I have been truly ‘in the moment’ during that time, my chronic severe foot pain, anxiety, depression (the list goes on) taking a back seat in my mind for that time. Magical mindfulness. The warmth and fresh smell of horsey breath on my neck and face the best medicine I’ve tried in a long while. Thank you Dean. And Ozzy the kelpy. Nia x
