Celebrated my 22nd birthday there and had soo much fun. Staff were super friendly and helpful and did their best to get everything spurted out for us and tolerated drunk kids so well. And the venue was amazingggggg

I just had my 40th birthday here and I was completely looked after. Everybody had a fantastic night. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an affordable event space with fantastic staff.

I came here with a friend and let’s just say, the vibe was immaculate. Jye was kind enough to have a chat with us about cocktails even though it was super busy. He was super attentive to us and he recommended some good cocktails. If you’re looking for a fun night out or happen to stumble upon this place, you won’t regret.

Organised my wife’s 30th party at Pre drinks bar. The owner was great guiding me through the process from the initial enquiry through to the night of the party. This is such a hidden gem, the bartenders make amazing cocktails, best music and have to check out the beer garden out the back. Great vibe and best place for predrinks

Not too busy, friendly bar staff and normal prices for Melbourne. Seating out the front, indoors and in the beer garden out the back. Music an atmosphere are great. Definitely a good stop.

This place is the best, they saved my birthday event after a nearby venue cancelled without notice. The staff are such lovely people, this place seriously deserves more business.

Daz and his team were so great to work with, consistent in their communication in preparation of the event and during.

I had my 21st party with 70 people give or take, from 7: 30PM to 1AM. The space was great for this number and people could spread out without feeling separate from the party. The food was well received and the bartenders were friendly.

Thank you Playhouse team for hosting my party, every friend I've spoken too said they had the best time and can't wait to go back!
