The Park Werribee reviews
85 Pakistani Head Chef is not good.
Edit: Sorry this review is for December 2016. I still recall that day I saw your venue and had to review. Its good to see you fired that guy. Giving you 5 star for firing that guy; if he's still in contact please let him know as well.
Excellent night out, am a trivia regular. Would like more vegan and gluten free options on the menu. Staff are fabulous and very welcoming
Ordered Parma and beers with colleagues which was good but the service not so much. The lady who served our table kept asking us between our meals on table 31 if she can remove our plates or glasses everytime she didn't see us chewing the food or drinking something hope that's just some standard hustling behaviour with all your customers and not subtle racism. You'll definitely see us there next time for the parma but with cameras to record your behaviour.
Had a nice time here for Sunday lunch. Food was spot on and service was very fast. Good place for lunch if you are looking for a nice spot.
I am very conflicted in giving this review, given my fabulous dining experience at the Park Werribee last time.
Unfortunately, this time our experience in dining at the Park Werribee was not up to mark. In total, we have to wait for 1 hour 25 minutes for our food to arrive. And even when the food has arrived, we were disappointed to find that the burgers were not up to standard, and the chips were not crispy/ well salted. We also noted that we have to ask the waitresses (and to also be asked in return) multiple times for the status on our food, which is somewhat embarrassing and reflective of a lack of good customer service.
I understand that with an ongoing function and a busy crowd following the easing of the lockdown, it can be difficult to serve food and long customer times are expected. But getting customers to wait beyond 1 hour, only to get subpar food, is quite unacceptable. Some of us have also come a long way from the Eastern suburbs just to pay a visit and we just didn't think it was worth what we are paying for this time.
I'm still giving 3 stars though because I live around this area, I understand your pain and I want to support your business as much as I can. Please however, do take this feedback into consideration as I really want to see an improvement in the future.
On the bright side, thank you for offering your sincere apologies at the entrance and also serving us the drinks.
Great place to have a drink or dinner. Staff are ultra friendly and the vibes pretty cool here. All practising safety for covid. Highly recommend coming here!
The Park has become one of our fave places to dine. We've only ever had one average dining experience there. They've created a great atmosphere for after work drinks or mid week catch ups. Amazing desserts and a huge selection of ciders, micro brewery beers and a nice wine selection. Staff are super friendly and really accommodating.
Only negative would be the noise level at times.
Atmosphere is cool, heaps of room for entertaining your family, very top friendly staff. Food is excellent
Very impressed with The Park. Started off with greetings and great service from all staff throughout our time here. I ordered the brisket and my partner ordered the chicken schnitzel and we were both very happy with our food it was delicious. Really liked the modern day ordering system using phones to order, food did not take long to come out. Will be coming back here for sure, definately reccommend to anyone just wanting a chill, friendly, good vibe restaurant/bar. Thankyou.
Busy place to visit on a Saturday night. Not sure if COVID rules were being adhered to. Great drink options. Staff were friendly and the food servings were large. Not a great deal of options for food intolerances (such as low fodmap). I got a chicken parmigiana that was supposed to be onion & garlic free but I suspect the sauce had onion in it as I experienced gut pain & reaction after eating it. So beware if you have food intolerances.
Food was good. The online food ordering system is a bit annoying as it meant all our food arrived at different times. Great place to go for a drink and a catch up with a friend.
Great place! Super family friendly (special entertainment for kids), nice chilled atmosphere and yummy food! Will be back!
Cherished by locals, The Park is everything you could possibly want in a venue - modern pub meals, a wide range of tap beers, great entertainment, accommodating staff, function rooms and beer gardens.and all without a pokie machine in sight. A+
5 stars for the prawn tacos.
Get the prawn tacos.
The serving was only 2 prawn tacos.so order more prawn tacos.
Excellent prawn tacos.
Food was very nice. Huge meal so great value for money. Service was prompt and friendly. Would definitely go back again.
Great buzzy venue. I got the best table service one can think of. The waitresses were constantly alert and going the extra step to provide service with a smile. The plate of beef stir fry was very generous with tender spicy meat. Maybe less meat and more veggies would have balanced the stir fry better.
The beer was served to a perfect head and temperature. Prices are quite reasonable.
The Park Werribee, on Synnot Street, Werribee is a new, modern bar opened in downtown Werribee. It is close to the train station. The food there is amazing. A great menu with acspecials board. They have a great selection of craft beers and ciders as well as the usual spirits if you fancy a drink. Functions can also be held here. I always enjoy my time here at The Park.
Always excellent food, beer and company. The most alive place in Werribee although it can get a bit noisy later in the evening.
Food is very average, some of the staff are nice but the majority will discriminate against and treat you like a criminal if you have tattoos. Strongly recommend people don't support an establishment that is happy to discriminate against and judge people by their looks. It's 2020 now, not 1920 - get with the times.
Quite a bit different to what you'd expect a pub in Werribee to be like, and quite a bit different to the pub that used to occupy this space. (This is a good thing) Lots of different craft beers available along with a menu that features pub classics and more artisan options.
