We had our wedding here in May and all I can say is WOW! The AusVenue Co team made the whole experience absolutely seamless. They were organised, professional and had a process for everything but were also completely flexible and made it easy to personalise the event to suit our needs. The food was amazing and the ability to bring in spirits with our drinks package was a massive plus for us! Up until the last minute we had some minor changes and even while planning during COVID, they were so accommodating. It is very rare that I actually write reviews but this venue and the team 100% deserved to be recognised for their exceptional service, being so helpful and accommodating, especially when it was close to 300 people in the room. Also, the new carpet just in time for our event was a massive PLUS!

We recently celebrated our wedding at The Park and honestly couldn’t be happier with their service. From their hospitality at our first viewing to the super prompt and helpful responses all throughout our planning. They worked alongside us and gave us as much information as possible all throughout covid and assisted in helping us feel secure about going ahead with our wedding plans.

They made every single part of the planning process a breeze and genuinely enjoyable. We couldn’t be happier with the assistance we received from Elizabeth.

Our wedding day ran so smoothly even making allowances for us to take our wedding photos inside the venue as the weather was miserable was not too much to ask for them. They met and exceeded every need for both ourselves and our guests. The staff on the night were so warm and accomodating and showed genuine happiness for us and our celebration. The food was delicious and the service was incredible. We honestly cannot speak more highly of this beautiful venue and the beautiful people who work there. Our day could not have been anymore perfect and we have The Park to thank for that.

I recently attended a wedding here as a guest and as someone who is in the wedding industry myself I was horrified the lack of covid protocols. No social distancing, no mask wearing yet it was mandatory at the time that masks be work indoors. Staff not proactive for a covid safe environment. Realiy disappointing for our industry

We had our engagement party there and we were so worried we couldn't, based off everything going on with COVID-19. However, the event staff walked us through every step and was there for all our questions and queries. There was so much communicating which made us feel at ease. On the day, the staff and the venue was absolutely perfect and to exactly what we wanted it to be. Not only was the venue perfect, but the staff and food and drinks were exceptional! We honestly have nothing bad to say and although it was just an engagement party, everyone at The Park Melbourne made it so special for us! Highly recommend and biggest thank you to everyone!

Its in a nice location but the building is run down. When inside the afternoon sun is terrible when seated. Main access is via stairs. No lift. Very poor lighting when leaving. Be there early for easy parking.otherwise paying a fortune in hotel across the road. Food was pretty average also.

The Park is a beautiful venue overlooking the waterfront situated in Albert Park. Perfect for events with a big guest list.

We recently had our wedding here and the whole process in the lead-up and then the actual night, were simply amazing. Highly recommend!

The Park hosted our Wedding on Saturday 11/01/2020.

All elements of the event were executed perfectly, from the pre-wedding consultations right up to the final moments of our wedding evening.

The support and assistance we received leading up to the event was fantastic. All staff were very attentive and responded to our many queries in a timely and approachable manner.

The event was hosted and executed exactly as planned with all drinks and meals being served on-time and with beautiful presentation and elegance. We received many compliments from our guests post the event on how great the food was and staff service.

The venues presentation was absolutely stunning and it was very evident all staff involved went to the nth degree to ensure our wedding was as perfect as we wanted it.

We are very thankful to have chosen The Park to host our wedding event and would highly recommend them to others seeking a 5-star venue.

Recently attended a wedding reception, location was good, however there is no provision for car parking and that's a shame when someone is spending big amount of money and people you have invited had to park far from the actual place. Secondly, food was hopeless.we were served Indian fusion food.it was cold by the time it came to our table. They served us lamb biryani and apparently there was not a single piece of lamb and it was totally bland with no flavors. And I've heard lot of people saying that.

We chose to have our wedding at The Park Melbourne because of the great location and its a beautiful venue. From the initial consult the team were warm, friendly and accomodating. We were able to mix and match the standard packages to our liking, which added to the great overall experience.

Liz was incredible, a pleasure to deal with and no request was too difficult. She was responsive to all emails and even went out of her way to open the venue for us outside of her normal work hours.

On the wedding day, Ella and Baha worked flawlessly with our other suppliers and made sure everything ran smoothly. They and their staff were attentive with all of our guests and made everyones experience a memorable one.

Our wedding was perfect, the food was incredible and The Park’s service was amazing.

Beautiful venue by the lake framed with nature's best sunset, almost a dreamy location for my wedding! Highly recommended.

The events team were helpful, patient and kind with my many many Bridezilla requests and coordinated perfectly with my wedding stylist, Eliska from Ruffles and Bells and my other vendors.

Huge huge shoutout to the staff on the day of who made all my guests feel welcome and special, and the exceptional Ella and Baha who took such excellent care of me.

Well laid out function room and can accommodate up to 300 with ease. Gets a little cold given its right on the lakes edge

Attended a function here at night and would not recommend this venue. The chandeliers were the only nice feature. The venue is old with a coat of paint to cover things up - looks very tacky. Toilets were old and rundown.
Food: The pork entree was very nice and beautifully cooked however the stodgy pasta had cold and warn bits mixed together, the fish was on the verge of being off (taste and smell) with both people either side of me not eating it. My beef cheeks were tender but chewy because the outside was overdone.
Drinks: The champagne was nice however the red wine could not even be called wine - it had a raspberry cordial colour and smelt awful - the taste was even worse and full glasses were just left standing in the middle of the table. The white wine was only slightly better. Not a good reflection on the event organisers, perhaps they had more wine options but chose the cheapest available. The food could have been beautiful - it just wasn't cooked well and obviously not that fresh.
Apart from having plates put in front of us the service was non-existent. Sorry to sound so negative but it was not an enjoyable experience.

Would give these guys 50 stars if I could. The venue is stunning would highly recommend for all. Dylan you're the nicest guy going around

We recently had our son's and now daughter-in-law's wedding at The Park and all I can say is that the venue and staff were amazing. They could not do enough for us. I highly recommend the The Park Albert Park. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you so much.

We attend here as vendors a few times a year. Its a large spacious venue. Great for sunset weddings as it overlooks the lake. It has adequate av for video and mc. Bar and toilet facilities are clean. Venue managers are alsways welcoming and professional. Just be aware of parking space may fill up quick for large events.

One of the premiere reception centres in Melbourne for the bride & groom.this place right on sunset the pier overlooking Albert Park Lake photos can be absolutely world class!

I attended the woman in industry event here last night and unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend going to this place at all.

The event space seemed uncared for, and the bathroom wasn’t clean.

The food was awful. I had cold/ slight warm bits of gnocchi for entree and the snapper was off and over cooked. No one on my table ate the fish, it even smelt off. I couldn’t even eat a mouthful.

The wine wasn’t any better, we poured the wine and then couldn’t drink it, it smelt and tasted like vinegar, even after asking for a new bottle, it was still the same. The person at the bar didn’t seem to care at all and there wasn’t really any service beyond the food being delivered and asking for our coffee order.

I was looking forward to eating here as I had heard and read great things but I was really disappointed with what was provided for this event.

Our journey experience wedding reception research all started in September 2017, casually visiting different venues all around Melbourne. Until we popped into The Park remembering we had a wedding here in June 2016 and how beautiful it was. We came in and met with Alexia to take a look and instantly we feel in love looked at dates that were available for 2019. Alexia was so helpful in locking in a date for us. Alexia was amazing in helping us with all our questions and providing us all information we needed to know and inviting us to showcases.

Ellie thank you so much for all your help in all the emails we sent to each other back and forth and all the numerous phone calls in breaking down our package to perfection, with costs, final numbers, adding in last minute additions. You were always so approachable and very easy to get along with. Definitely made my experience planning my wedding so good. I actually loved planning my wedding. Even when we went to the venue to drop off you were not available to see me but it was like you were still there, because Dylan knew everything that was happening and if not, we both wrote notes for you and you were onto it the next day. The day before my wedding you called me telling me that everything is all sorted and ready to go and all I needed to do now is relax which is exactly what I did.

Arriving the night of our wedding and being greeted by Ella at the hummer to say welcome and help us all out of the hummer was just beautiful. Ella and I'm so sorry I can't remember his name that was with you that night was just amazing. Coming up into the venue and seeing the set-up WOW it just looked beautiful.our vision came to life to exactly how we imaged it all to be! We have had so many compliments from our guests at the wedding on how beautiful the venue is, how delicious food was and the service was spot on. Ella my parents and in laws can’t stop talking about you as they were so happy with everything that you did for them on the night in making there night amazing as well.

Ross and I feel so blessed to have had such a beautiful wedding celebrated with all our friends and family and choosing The Park as our reception. We honestly cannot say a bad thing because everything was just PERFECT! We can’t believe its all over and wish we could do it all again!
