The Paperback Bookshop reviews
48My favourite book store I have to visit when coming to Melbourne, it's opened late and full of delightful books. Sure you could get the books online, but where else can you browse a quaint little store, feeling and smelling all the books. They have a unique selection of all sorts of books and friendly staff.
This cute little bookshop in Melbourne operates till late with lots of unique selection of books on their bookshelves. The warm and inviting ambiance of the interior created a cozy and homely environment that was simply enchanting. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and I observed them assisting customers with specific interests.
The best book store in Melbourne, great selection, knowledgeable staff. Can't recommend enough
Extremely rare to see a bookstore operating till late. Amazing collection, beautiful music, and great art. The staff picks are great. Can’t wait to go back
Cute / iconic looking bookshop from the outside. Plenty of good books inside too (drawn to the classics).
Gorgeous cosy store replete with beautiful and interesting books. I found this by accident and am very happy about that!
Advertised as a second hand bookshop, everything was new. Good selection but a little disappointing.
Lot of interesting books and titles that hard to find online.
Bought Noam Chomsky’s at a reasonable price
Great range of books; classics, thrillers, general fiction, autobiographies, zines and many more. Decent prices, will shop again
Such a hearty little spot - and by hearty i mean it’s really full of heart! Lots of book choices from floor to ceiling and from what i overheard the clerks are ready to help and really know their stuff! Btw, if you’re that type of person, i have to say, the smell of books was just extraordinary?
I love seeing people peeking and waiting for the shop to be opened while it was left by the keeper. That means the bookshop has a lot to offer and people really keen to come inside.
My guess is confirmed when I come and see the collection. Small shop but pack with a lovely collection of books.
I just chose and picked a current issue book that has been intrigued me since I visited China couple years ago.
I loved how quaint and warm the place is. I was looking to buy fiction and some astrophysics books. I'm pleased with my purchase and was glad to see a South Asian author in the collection! I'd love to revisit and bring my mother here when she visits.
Great range of books! I finally found Anne of Green Gables. Staff is also so sweet and kind, I felt so cherished ️?
Found this gem of a bookstore randomly and i’m so glad I did! Great selection of books and really sweet guy manning the store is a bonus!
Amazing use of space. Lovely vibe. The kind of book shop you see in a movie and wish you could visit in real life. Quant and charming.also, incredible coffee next door
Gorgeous bookshop, I instantly feel calm whenever I'm in this shop. Lovely staff and gorgeous books
Couldn't find the books I was looking for but it was cool little store. The store guy was nice and helpful.
Great little hideaway. Chock- a -block full of a great variety of books.
Even found this one that I think describe me.
My favourite bookstore in Melbourne. Could spend hours in here. Staff are very helpful with recommendations and also ordering in books they don't have in stock
