Had the Smoked Salmon one. It was super duper nice- fluffy and moist with great portions. Was a fantastic taste I've never experienced before. Staff were also very polite and bright, really greatful for their service. Hope to be able to come again to try out their other pancakes.

First time attending this venue, certainly wont be my last. I had the All Day Breakfast, which was superb, and my skinny latte fabulous. Next time I will be trying The Three B's.

The service was so friendly and welcoming. Hats off to Adam who waited on us with a genuine smile and the staff who gave us an extra pancake free of charge for our baby to munch on. The hot fudge sauce with chocolate mousse ice-cream was a favourite of ours from the singles pack options.

Great experience, staff are super friendly, pancakes are yum, and the milkshakes are divine. I thought the pancakes were really overpriced, but they are really not, because you taste of the pancakes really makes it worth it.

The serving sizes are very generous, but the star of the show is of course the pancakes, which I highly, highly recommend!

Pancakes came out of the kitchen first and sat on the serving tray for at least 10 minutes while the decorations were being assembled. By the time they were served the pancakes had gone cold and hard - very over priced for the size and quantity.

Coffee ordered was cold and they replaced it with another Luke warm coffee, but then when the “all day breakie” was served the eggs were cold and looked as though they had been sitting there for 15 minutes but what was worse was the cracked pepper on the side that burnt the side of my tongue with the very first bite. This entire meal cost $140 (including 2 coffees and 3 hot chocolates not shown in photos). Egg dish was returned as you see it in the photo.

I'm going to start by saying that this little cafe is hidden inside JV Marine World. It does say it on the website but we thought that meant on the same lot. Nope, it's in the building! We decided to order a milkshake each and the Family pack so that we could try a few of the different sauces and ice-creams. The pancakes were of an average size but boy were they filling. The amount of sauce and ice-cream provided was generous as we had quite a bit left at the end. The $85 price may not be everyone's cup of tea but if we had chosen separate meals it would have been about the same amount. (The menu had just been changed today so the website may not have been updated yet).

Tucked away inside JV Marine world is the non descript eatery area that is well transformed from boat showroom to diner style.

Friendly, effective, efficient and over accomdating staff on hand to great you.

I am not a big pancake person, and two things I'd thought would never go together would be pancakes and chilli con carne but outstandingly they did.

The chilli con carne was one of the best I've had world wide, even leaving me tempting to order a second.

Bit pricey, but worth it for food quality.
Food delivered in a good timely manner.

Very nice and cozy place with very welcoming staff. Delicious aray of sweet and savoury pancake selection. The pancake Pizza was delicious and generous portion in size. Perfect place to take family out for some quality time and good food. Or to catch up with a friend. The staff was very polite and friendly. Definitely a place to revisit.

The Pancake Train - Braeside is a wonderful hidden gem in JV MARINE WORLD.

We love how delicious their fluffy custard whipped pancakes are, and how all the toppings and ice-cream are made in-house! It makes for a wonderful experience when you can create your own platter with different toppings. They also a great selection of savoury or special options on their menu too.

Their Famous Pancake Pack is made up of a selection of sizes to suit and has a large selection of sauces, ice-cream shots, and vials to decorate and top your pancakes. This pack is a huge highlight for the kids.

The Jam Doughnut Stack was an absolute delight, with Cinnamon & Sugar Dusted Pancakes, with a center of raspberry jam. It's served with Vanilla Custard and Vanilla Ice-cream.

The All-Day Brekky is also a great option, which includes two pancakes, with smashed avo, cracked pepper, and cheese. It's topped with 2 sunny eggs and sprinkled with bacon & pinenut confetti. It's finished with spring onions & Dijon hollandaise.

They have everything you need to make you comfortable, including a new blackboard for the kids to draw on.

The food here is just ok. I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. The pancakes are small and overpriced for what you receive and the food is over-complicated for a pancake restaurant. The food is certainly edible but the restaurant does not deserve the self titled "Hidden Gem of Braeside".

3 family members went there for my sons birthday. The service was fine, but the options of dishes were thin. I just wanted to get 1 pancake with some syrup, some fruit and a dollop of icecream. I showed an photo of a dish from their website that I would like, but was told they were not available. So had to order 3 Solo Packs @ $25 each, but what they could of done was help us spend less, by offering to share two dishes rather than 3, as none of us could finish our meals. Anyway for a brunch to cost nearly $100, I sadly left not only feeling sick but ripped off

This place is a must for pancake lovers. It's guaranteed that you'll be met with genuinely friendly customer service and the pancakes themselves are perfection - light, fluffy and a huge selection of condiments to make your own flavours. For savoury pancake fans, I can't go past the Irish Delight.

Dietary requirements? No worries. There's vegan pancakes and protein packed pancakes. On one visit, I was on a dairy free diet and they were so accommodating for my needs, they even changed the ingredients in their menu for me.

The cafe is hidden away in a boat shop, so it can be difficult to find for first time visitors. But it's truly a hidden gem, you won't regret it!
