The Pancake Parlour reviews
55Really nice staff. They always very welcoming. Good service Good service. Good service Good service. Good service Good service. Good service Good service.
Pancake parlour's food is good and all but their a bit disorganized when inorder my food a waited for so long that the people who came after got their food it was really annoying, i had to and remind them about my order.
We consider this a real special treat coming to the Pancake Parlour and we certainly enjoyed our last birthday celebrations here with sensational service. Staff even helped us celebrate our daughter birthday with popping candles on her pancake and bringing it out surrounded by a menu singing happy birthday! Thank you. Oh and as always.the food is delicious!
I loved the original style of pancake with maple syrup. They are soft, fluffy and fresh. I have ordered Alice-. I forgot the whole name.sorry. The pancakes are served with chocolate syrup and ice cream of your choice. I personally couldn't eat the entire dish since chocolate syrup was really strong and didn't like that much. Although I loved the mini pancakes which came in blueberry and salted caramel flavours. They were really good.
I've never really had a exceptional experience at pancake parlour except for when they first rolles in. This last experience still not great. Service was ok, they did get my order qrong which is eveeytime we go (maybe twice a year). I got lemon and suger pancakes and opted no icecream but it came out with ice cream. The lemon wedges were obviously cut with a dirty knife and the coffee is horrible. The food itself is pretty good. I know i like the savoury crepes so ill stick to them next time.
The best breakfast in Melbourne, the girl who served us was soooo sweet, i think her name is sarrawath
Service was good. Drinks were good. Just had pancakes and i wouldn't go back. The IT was tasteless. Prices had gone up and for burnt banana as part of a tasteless topping it was not worth it. Have had this pancake before at other stores and it was amazing. Poor effort werribee. Try eating the food yourself so you understand the flavour not just following the instructions badly.
What’s the point of scheduling an order for pick up at a specific time! I come in expecting my food to be ready at the time it was scheduled for and I stand around for over half an hour.
Wasn’t offered a seat or anything. Ridiculous…. Some birthday…
Service was on point. You can order from the table itself or wait for the staff to take your order.
Staff forgot to add Banana to the Banana split, but mistake worthy of humour rather than a complain.
Mistake was quickly rectified with no dramas.
The pancakes are delicious, but truly overpriced. And nothing about the experience makes up for the inflated price tag. The staff were polite and professional.
Edit: I appreciate your reply. It shows you care. I will return soon with my family. Despite the high price, the pancakes were truly delicious.
Sadly, it was a let down on experience and on the edge of discrimination.
The patrons sitting next to us, took offence to us, since they walked in and had been showing us faces. This was just racist, but we just disregarded that.
The manager though then, choose to remind us to leave in the pretence of timeline to appease the adjacent patrons!
When questioned by us and following an argumentative conversation, they conceded, and were helpful following that.
But, shouldn’t they have tried to understand in the first place before asking us to leave?
Doesn’t that just amount to discrimination.
We were a group of family friends who were having a good laugh after a long time and felt pancake parlour would be a good informal setting with kids to relax and talk. It wasn’t and I am not considering it for future family dinners.
Extremely Bad service, unwelcoming and unapproachable staff members. Feedback left at headoffice but nothing done about it. The person from headoffice had no clue what he was talking about and wanted to hangup the call. Not going back to this store anymore.
Not happy at all with the service.
The manager was nice enough to give a complete refund though which is why the two stars
Well wasn't that one of the worst meals I have had.was really looking forward to it as I haven't had Pancake Parlour for years, used Deliveroo, meal arrived barely warm and icecream melted, BUT it was the pancakes, they used to be light and fluffy and with quite a distinct yummy flavour.all of that is gone, they were quite granular and ordinary, Coles pikelets were softer and fluffier.in a nutshell, NEVER AGAIN, just awful, I had a savoury and a sweet, both horrible, never wasting any money again on this rubbish.
We came in tonight with 4 young children.
We were asked to check in and promptly seated in a booth. I told the waitress we would order online so she brought over colouring pages and pencils for the kids.
Our order was brought out with no wait time.
I was then asked twice afterwards if everything was OK. Which it was.
Great service and awesome food.
Thanks.
You can't go wrong with the pancake, very delicious. Make sure to install their app before you arrive, to expedite your order, otherwise they will come over and take a manual order.
In Pancake parlor at Werribee Plaza having lunch. Just walked in and got a seat. Staff are always friendly and that is what keeps you coming back. For him the Country breakfast and for me the Hot fudge sundae and why wouldn't you eat a sundae for lunch. The perks of being a adult.
Helpful staff and enjoyable food, though this time they put far too much cinnamon on my dish ️
Went here with a group of friends a few nights ago. Service was fast initially when we ordered our drinks, then no one came to check if we were ready to order food - we had to flag the waitress down on what was a quiet night. Ordered the salted caramel pancakes and thought I had accidentally ordered the snack size, as the pancakes were tiny. The caramel sauce tasted burnt and left a bad taste in my mouth, which the cream only just barely made better. Not super impressed for the price ️
Great service from the Kiwi girl from Hastings. However we we're disappointed! Our pancakes were salty & left a weird aftertaste in our mouths.
Our son chose to dine there as he loves pancakes, but he wouldn't even finish one from his stack & the ice cream didn't make it taste palatable for him!
