The North Face reviews
14Small and cosy shop, but not impressive shop. I feel the shop looks disorganised. Any way I loved the north face jacket so I got it. Staff we’re friendly and helpful.
Best staff big shout out to the manager Adam and the staff very friendly will definitely be back and highly recommend this shop great choices of clothing and their great customer service truly goes along way:)
Horrible experience going to this branch. Came with my partner on Tuesday night to the second floor with intention of getting a jacket for our friend.
As she trying on a jacket to see the look, a bearded staff member with black beanie approached us to offer some assistance, my partner politely told him that we are just browsing as she wanted to take her time, the staff member then rudely commented that she is clearly trying the jacket on and it is very different from browsing, then, he insisted on what size does she wants, my partner became very upset and replied no thank you, the guy just turn his back on us, then walk off with annoyed face without saying any words.we were left shocked and my partner decided to leave the shop immediately. I never ever experience any nasty behavior from any local retailers before, let alone international establishment like north face. Very upsetting experience!
I would personally like to thank the 3 young male employees of your store for their attention to my husband's needs yesterday when he suffered a medical episode whilst in the store. Their compassion was to be admired. Thankyou so much.
Adam, you're amazing!
Lot of product knowledge, also there to advise on things to do in the area.
Took time for a nice conversation about whatever. Great customer service!
Thanks
Great staff plenty of variety of outdoor products to cater for all even the extreme adventurers
As a person who also works in retail, I value customer service.
That’s my experience:
I bought a FULL PRICE Jacket at South Wharf DFO which was under the warranty still. However, the jacket had a quality issue and took it to the Bourke street store for being a more convenient location for myself.
First, customer service is all about the energy and how we can make the experience memorable which unfortunately can’t tell that I had today. At least not in a good way.
That’s not my first time facing the same issue with the Store manager at the Bourke street store. I can’t understand how a leader, who should be an expert in solving problem, turns out someone who makes a customer issue into such a terrible experience.
She didn’t believe me at all. I gave enough details to enable her to track my receipt in the system, however, she said that I would have to go to the origin purchase location to have that receipt because she was unable to get it by herself. I literally got the receipt in my personal email in front of her in 2 minutes, it only took me a phone call to the origin purchase store location.
Even though, She didn’t trust saying that the receipt wasn’t mine.which I found very offensive, because I had the receipt purchase payment matching with my card.
At the end, she did what she was supposed to do it. She solved my problem, however she decided to take the longest and stressful way to make it happen, she was clearly unhappy to help me.
I can’t stand people like this. Very toxic.
I hope she doesn’t get the DFO team, as if they have done something they couldn’t do it.
The team at DFO is great, helpful, proactive, and I can’t put in words how polite the lady over true phone was.
The shop is small for such a brand. They don’t have so many of the sizes and models. The staff are helpful and nice though
I visited this The North Face store earlier tonight and I was really impressed the friendly customer service and the expansive product range. Great service - great product - great store.
The staff at Northface were very helpful with lots of know how about their products! Their products are an invesment not a purchase and could save your life in the extreme enviroments of our planet!
Was helped by Mel and Kate when I went in yesterday and they were fantastic. Mel was a gem and so patient as I tried on almost every shoe in the store. Even though I couldn't find exactly what I wanted, I'm dropping them a review because the customer service in this store is amazing. Keep up the great work guys!
Great service and advice.
Even if I couldn't get the same jacket that I bought in 2012.haha.
If you a want attentive customer service experience avoid this place.run as fast as you can in the opposite direction.
Disinterested staff who clearly appear they would be rather picking strawberries or sorting their tea towel draw out rather than try and sell you expensive but quality products.
All need a lesson in sales and a personality injection.rubbish!
Walked in to buy a hiking backpack. I was helped out by a top guy by the name of Tom, who fitted the pack perfectly and also left me with some great advice on hiking and running. Cheers mate, will be back again for sure!
