The National Hotel

Food is not special. Same as other pubs. Took them an hour to make the food. Never come back again.

Overall experience at The National Hotel was amazing! I organised a surprise birthday lunch and it was very easy to organise from start to finish. The events coordinator (Sasha) was very efficient and clear with communications and was very accomodating of our requests. The function package itself was very reasonable and this venue is one of the few venues that allows you to have a cash bar rather than mandating a tab or drinks package. I also loved the additional extras in the function package! Provides some great ideas to make your event special. The quality of the food was incredible. Everyone at our event was raving about the pork belly and lamb shoulder!
We booked the Garden Parlour and it was the perfect space as we were able to play our own music and present a photo slideshow on the tv.
Would recommend this venue to all!

I had my 21st here, roughly 40ppl in the Cafe space.it was perfect.cheese board was amazing, and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food.

All of the staff are lovely, I've got nothing but good things to say about the service.the bartender with the bright coloured hair was serving us today and we felt so taken care of. 10/10 would absolutely recommended giving the nash a visit if you haven't already!

We had a great time at the National Hotel this past weekend where I organised a surprise birthday party for my partner. Sasha was amazing to communicate with and she did a fantastic job at making sure everything was accounted for. Would highly recommend!

Walked in as the bartender was popping balloons to the beat of Britney Spears' Toxic and spirts on the shelf vibrate to the beat of the music. 5/7 would recommend.

The outdoor seating area is fantastic for a casual meal and catch up, while the inside restaurant is great for a more formal sit down meal.

I had a function in the cafe space here for my birthday and highly recommend it. The space was beautiful, the staff was lovely, and myself and my guests all had a blast.

Great private venue space for an intimate get together. Staff were friendly and service was excellent. Food was even better!

We had a small baby shower event in the cafe space. The venue was so so beautiful, with the little fireplace and exposed brickwork. The food was delicious, as were the beverages. The staff were very helpful with special requests and the overall service was calm and organised. We would surely be here again for our next event, maybe in the beer garden! Great work, team at National!

Had birthday bash in the Garden Parlour of The National. Everyone had a fantastic day, event was organised well, staff on the day were very friendly and professional and overall pricing is reasonable. Wouldn't hesitate to use for another event in the future.

Food was very nice. We ordered three entrees and all were tasty. The people we were with all had same or different and everyone said food was great. Our group was about 20+ people. The staff was friendly and helpful and the security staff were friendly and professional

Great, but they lose a star for making me select no tip on the ordering app. Ordering from the app is fantastic but no tip must be the default.

Love mr yum ordering for an easy casual drink. Beer Standard the not quite craft any more but still good beer range (mt goat, balter etc) but amazing Asian fusion style pub fare.

Had the best time celebrating my 25th birthday here! Big shoutout to Sasha and the team at The National Hotel for helping with my event. Will definitely come back to visit soon:)

Great place for a function or just drop in for a drink or meal. Atmosphere is friendly and so are the staff.
