The Mystery Rooms - Escape Room Melbourne

Amazing! Took a group of 14 year old Girl Guides and they loved every minute. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The challenges were creative and fun. Recommend it to everyone.

Staff were fantastic, really catered for our group who had a mix of experienced and first time escape-roomers. Themes were fun and the puzzles were challenging

This is a great experience. We did Chapter 2 (Merlin) which was quite a challenge! Definitely recommend and we will be going back for more.

Highly recommend the Fitzroy mystery rooms. Our instructor Chris really made the experience fun. We’ll definitely be back to complete the rest of the rooms.

Great atmosphere. The puzzles and rooms are wonderfully thought out and fun first and foremost. The most immersive room I've done so far and staff were friendly, responsive and helpful to guide us where we needed.
Definitely recommend, worth the price and I will come back again. (Ps- leaving 5 stars cause I genuinely thought this place deserves it)

Great session. We loved it so much we immediately booked to do another room the next week. The staff were helpful and friendly. We are planning to come back and do the final two rooms. Highly recommend!

Was an absolutely amazing experience, great staff interaction and instructions. We did the Lost Tomb chapter 1. Had a great diversity in puzzles, the sand and tunnel made it very immersive, was challenging enough that it was enjoyable and satisfying but not so much so that we felt disheartened. The rooms being interconnected also enhanced the experience. Once we escaped the experience after was great at the bar. We are now hooked and if it hadn't been fully booked we would have done the next chapter straight away!

First Time Mystery room experience.and one word to describe it would A-MAZ-ING. Great set up and they get your brain cogs turning from the moment you enter the pre brief. Great challenges and well set out. Chris was awesome the way he ran it and with his much needed clues. Thanks to Tom for this experience.looking forward to our corporate event.

Our family has completed the first two rooms - Lost Tomb and Medieval Quest and both have been excellent! The puzzles are challenging and intricate, and the atmosphere and set up in both rooms were also top notch. We’ve had great service both before the event from Tom and on the day from the team. We love The Mystery Rooms and can’t wait to try room 3!

Great experience, the rooms are done very well, the problems are complex enough to be challenging but simple enough that you do not require any special skills to be able to complete the tasks. They have also done a lot of pre room work in making the venue help to set the scene / give the feel of mystery. We will definitely be coming back.

I’ve now tried a few “escape rooms” in Melbourne. This was by far the best. The overall experience was great. The rooms were challenging. Plus you get a free drink afterwards. Be sure to try the bonus challenges in the bar!

What an amazing way to celebrate our daughter's 12th birthday! SO much fun for young and old alike. Working together, we draw upon each others strengths and ingenuity. It challenged us, we laughed and cheered when we completed the challenge and it made us appreciate each other on a higher level. So many puzzles, none of them mainstream, this is a game that forces you to think outside the square. Can't wait to visit again soon.

Brilliant, creative, and engaging experience. Really appreciated the dedication the staff have, really made my first escape room experience hard to follow!

I hosted a surprise birthday party here and Tom, Chris and the staff went above and beyond to make it a wonderful experience. I had a cupcake delivery due, and the cupcakes were damaged by the time they arrived. The staff called the cupcake store and fresh new cupcakes were delivered just in time. Amazing service, and the mystery room was great. We all had a great time!

Mystery rooms has the COOLEST ATMOSPHERE! I FELL IN LOVE! I will definitely be back very soon! Ashleigh was an amazing host and did a wonderful job of making sure we had a great time

This place is so above and beyond. Besides the fact that their rooms have years of polish and more theme than a theme park, their staff is so generous. Thomas Hudson gave me great pointers for doing an escape-room style fundraiser for an environmental education non-profit and he was absolutely delightful to speak with.

My son has had two birthday parties at The Mystery Rooms. They were both great. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and the rooms/puzzles are fantastic. Thoroughly recommended for birthday parties and family outings.

Celebrated the twins 12th birthday yesterday. This place is amazing. While it was petty challenging for a crowd so young with assistance from staff and a generous extra few minutes we solved a few puzzles. Both boys and girls all enjoyed it.
