The Moe Hotel

Huge shout out to "Mel" in the bistro! I came in with a gentleman that I work with for his birthday. He was made to feel so special on his birthday, and his disability did not phase her in the slightest. More often than not, the people that I work with get ignored and it is the staff that people turn to. Mel was amazing!
Oh yeah, and so was the food! 2 empty plates spoke volumes!

Love the Bistro Girl she's amazing, always great service and tries to get to you as quickly as possible even when she looks like she's the only one there. Foods amazing as well but the service makes it even better. CHEERS

Had a lot of fun with mate's and I've been going there for 10 years and did not know they had a pool room and an arcade

A great place for a drink and a meal in air-conditioned comfort, and clean toilets, always a big bonus. A nice friendly place to meet.

Well the place is spacious and the service good but the food. Oh dear oh dear. The vegetarian options are tw types of risotto only. I ended up getting a fried egg, salad and VERY salty chips. My wife had a mountain of flatty tails with a pile of VERY salty chips and some salad. The fish was tough. The meals were far too big. Remember folks, huge doesn’t equal good. Good is good. The only types of beer they had was mass produced swill. Not even Cascade or Coopers. Will we go back? Nope, never.

Disappointed in the service, risotto was under cooked and we were unable to get waitresses attention so we could order more drinks.

We ordered over phone and collected thru bottle shop, chicken parmigiana with chips and salad, and chicken schnitzel with veges and mash. They were absolutely delicious. Meals were hot, crispy chicken, very large servings, gravy in separate containers and heaps of crunchy chips.
Sweets, two very generous servings of choc mud cake. Delicious. Thrs also a very generous discount for seniors too. Will definately purchase Moe Hotel meals again.

Great little pub with friendly staff, bistro is extremely generous, serving up delicious pub food (our party had 3 diff types of parmi's, steak and a seafood platter), friendly staff who went above and beyond. Well worth the stop

I love this place I come here a lot have my lunch with family and friends. The food is amazing with really good desserts got a good selection of food there and after lunch I have a great game of pool I would recommend it to anyone who loves food

The price difference between the bar and bistro is very different, we started in the bistro but moved to the bar where we got the same meal at a cheaper price

Food was good and served hot, although when 2 of us ordered roast of the day, we got different roast meats. Cappuccino was hot, steamy hot, not tepid like some barrista who fear burning lips, a healthy 75°.

Ambience left something to be desired, when we arrived in the bistro, a table of elderly ladies were just leaving and we were the only ones left in the room.

They have great specials, good service and friendly staff. They are open later than the supermarket liquor stores but the trading hours aren't listed on the company's website.

It's a locals pub, you need to find a person from Moe, your going to get the information you need to know

Seen the chef outside smoking, before heading back into the kitchen. Should have turned around then but decided to go in, we were a large group and the selections were the usual but a Parma for $28 I thought it would be huge.nope it was not in fact I had a better Parma the next day on top of mount baw baw and paid $11 less. My daughter wanted to play with the toys but they look like they had been dragged through the mud, they were so terrible I felt so bad. Not as bad as my wife later on that night as she was chucking up her garlic prawns about 8 hours later.overall a terrible experiance and one that I had paid top dollar for! For such a small town should be held to a higher standard.

Soft drink only for me, but attending the wake of Big Al Findlay, Bright Town Crier and helper of those in trouble and not in trouble.

Great hotel with meals, bar with pool, and pokies and lounge area. Friday nights with raffle and joker wild

Food took a long time to arrive.
Children's chicken nuggets were revolting. Super processed and tasted like a mixture of a chicken nugget with a fish finger.
Kids didn't get their colouring books with the kids meals, and the zooper dooper which is meant to be included in the meal.
Steak wasn't the greatest quality - meat was quite stringy.
Overall won't be returning again.

This deserves no stars. I ordered a medium steak and came out welldone. Two children both had the cheeseburgers and spent the entire night throwing up with suspected food poisoning!
