The Mill Brewery reviews
16Fantastic beer! Really enjoyed the stout, what a great beer. Awesome interior, and vibe to the place. Taco joint is awesome too, greatly recommend the beef tacos. Staff were ok.
Genuinely good beer and fabulous Mexican tacos - very authentic! Love that they go the extra mile on everything - a wonderful Nico business knocking it out of the park!
Dingo ate my taco! Absolute lifesaver taco. Woke up dusty as, with this feed in my gut I was ready to go again. Also banging winter soir on tap.
Just wow. The Mill
Warehouse style brewery. Bar out the front with a small kitchen and brewery at the back. So good. Get around this place!
Don’t know where this brewery is drawing their inspiration for lager from, cause I just bought their cracking lager from BWS …and you’d almost think it’s vic and melb bitter repackaged into a fancy new can.
This place was recommended by a friend, and we are glad that we came!
We ordered the paddle to sample their 13 taps, tacos, and nachos. We ordered guacamole and hot sauce on the side. The beers were perfect with the tacos.
Everything about the experience was amazing. Super friendly staff, and great music. We will definitely come back for more!

The Mill Brewery is a small, independent brewery and bar located in a refurbished ex-mechanics workshop in Collingwood. The vibe is super casual, with dim neon lighting, handmade Red Gum tables and a 600L brewhouse on show at the back.
They have 14 taps pouring a mix of their core beers and rotating seasonal brews, cocktails and wines. There weren’t many cocktails, but the ones they had were nice enough and only $19!
Currently they have @dingoatemytaco running their kitchen! We went for their 16 piece box Quesa Birria Tacos for $105, averaging $6 a taco that’s not bad! The tacos came with the onion and coriander on the side, as well as some different dipping sauces and 3 consumes. If you’re happy with a bunch of double dipping it works. It was nice, but again like my first try, I found they could’ve been cheesier and the consume be more flavourful. The Birria first-timers on the table however found it incredible.
We came with a group of 7 and didn’t struggle to find a table. Service was OK, no acknowledgment or welcome. They will abruptly tell you they’re closing and play heavy metal at 11pm on the dot. We’re chill and found it humorous.
Good if you’re looking for a relaxed, simple spot for a drink around Smith St which isn’t too busy. They also take bookings and are dog friendly!

Nice, hidden place in the heart of Collingwood. Delicious beer, great music and a cool atmosphere with positive vibe. A great place to go to have a great quality beer and some full of flavor tacos from “El Dingo”. This place is the perfect to spend a relaxed afternoon surrounded by beautiful people and friendly dogs.
Quality beers and always something new and inventive on tap, normally a great range of dark beers on offer.
Awesome brewery. Dog friendly. Great selection of beers. All quite unique and tasty. Variety of seating options and a really cool atmosphere.
Wonderful staff, a great range of original beers and some of the best tacos in Melbourne! For real. This place rocks.
Love this little brewery tucked just off Smith St. Classic warehouse venue and lots of variety on tap. Loving the addition of the Dingo ate my taco pop up which was the reason for my visit today, chasing this perfectly cooked brisket tacos, paired perfectly with a pale ale + =
Cool vibe at this hidden away brewery.
Beers were decent. Food was great.
Lots of seating inside and out!
Beers were ok and Tacos were tasty but extremely messy was full of watery juice, was having ok time until bar tender decided we could not drink spirits unless we sat at the bar, which if we were too drunk we shouldn't have been served but we were not. Left a bad taste for the night won't be going back there
Taco's are impressive. Just enough to fill that empty spot. Totally worth the money. Dipping sauce fantastic
The two staff behind the bar are terribly rude, said we had a booking and they laughed and said no you don’t. Didn’t even check on the computer. Then stuck us in the corner. Yuck
