The Midian Guard

Big thanks to the guys that were happy to show me the ropes with BSS last night. Super nice people and will be back for more.

Andy is a legend, great to deal with and you can tell by the first meeting how invested he is in the local gaming community.

I preordered an item via Midian, and despite some delays through no fault of theirs (distributor issues) Andy has been super helpful and polite when I followed up. Great customer service.

I arrived at 4.43 on Friday. 1 hour driving and it was already closed. That’s not professional at all.

I sms'ed store owners mobile, he/she responded to my txts very quickly. Told me to go to shop and have a look.

I went to shop and was greeted by a junior employee. He showed me the stock they had.

Picked up 2x Pokemon Celebration Mini Tins.

Great service.

Great store, great experience. I'm a repeat customer and I always feel very well looked after here. TCG singles and sealed product is always well priced and the customer service is great. Andy and his team are always willing to do what they can to help with any reasonable request.

Didn't receive my full order and very poor communication skills. Wouldn't recommend buying from here.

Canceled preorder with no explanation until asked.

Explained that allocation was low and need to keep for local scene. Fair enough that's great for your local scene. That means you did get allocation and that it could be used to satisfy my order.

Should thought more carefully with your preorder policy.

Been playing MTG here for a little while after changing from a previous LGS that's close by and just treats customers horribly. But Andy at TMG is a top bloke who loves what he sells and has the passion for his business. Your treated as a person and not a customer. The best in the area.

Compared to a fair few other GAME Shops I’ve visited, His Prices are the best in the west in my eyes! Instead of eBay or Amazon, i go 8 minutes down the road and collect my Cards, Sleeves or Accessories and not have to wait.which for some one like me who lives in the suburbs and had to travel out to WINDSOR every weekend for my cards, Comic shops and tourneys.

I buy and will keep buying a few items from THE MIDIAN GUARD at least Once a week and will keep going back.

The Owner (who is always more then happy to help out with whatever problem, big or small) and also another big win for us GAMERS is him; himself is also a very knowledgeable Gamer/Player and there for understands our GAMING needs and is always on point.before the COVID-19 ISO LOCKDOWN, Going into the store and meeting him; Straight away didn’t hesitate to stop what he was doing, greet us; get to know what were into and looking for and
show us around; giving us the lay of the land; The Down stairs Gaming Area; with table tops, The extended and expanding range of items starting from Starter Decks to table top games, to Card Sleeves and Game Mats and up to Collectables and Beginners Guides

and then the upstairs Gaming area which had more table tops but also a GAMING CONSOLE/LOUNGE area, to just kick back and play some MORTAL KOMBAT or MARIO KART or even just to relax, chill, catch up with everyone and get filed in on everything. I instantly felt welcomed and the comfortability in the atmosphere; 100% I can wait until we can come back in store!

I’ve been waiting a fair few years, hoping a real GAMER would maybe come along and give us what we need years ago. A GOOD, HONEST, QUALITY, Card Shop, we can call a second home.if I could (and I would) honestly love to work at THE MIDIAN GUARD.

Doesn’t get better. Never been to a game store where the experienced players all the way to the first times all feel so welcome. Comphy and clean with a huge space for big events too. The place embodies the owner who’s always more than happy to help. Personally love that they have a great fondness for games out of print.

The Store is laid out brilliantly with plenty of room and a great selection of products on offer

Product are fairly priced and the store has a great atmosphere

Really great service, shipped really quickly and kept me informed on any changes regarding the order.:)
