The Mews

We have just stayed at the Linden, The Mews. Beautifully designed. Very clean. And a wonderful surprise to have eggs bacon bread milk and juice after a long day of travel. Plenty of tea and coffee, with cereal. Kitchen fully decked out with plenty of cutlery and plates etc.the bathroom was big. There was a lovely outdoor area to have a morning cuppa. Thank you Miles for a wonderful few days

Fantastic accommodation close to the train station in New Gisborne. Well equipped and tastefully decorated.

Our Warehouse stay was wonderful. Beautiful amenities. Everything was spot on. Walking distance to great eateries. We had a very comfortable stay. We would stay again.

Fantastic place to stay, the pub is at the end of the street. Really appreciated the smaller details of coffee machine, coffee pods, fresh eggs, bacon, yoghurt, juice. The host was very accomodating too

We have stayed with Mews for many years and have always been impressed by the quality of the accommodation, the cleanliness and the friendly service. Beautiful, peaceful, immaculately clean cottage, lovely for a restful getaway. Delicious breakfast items. A very nice stay.

We stayed in a warehouse at the Mews Cottages, their newest offering. It was superb, beautifully appointed, quality homewares, very comfortable bedding, with a lovely breakfast included. Miles and Pauline were very accommodating and so nice to deal with. Can’t speak highly enough about the entire experience and surrounds.

A truly amazing experience.

We stayed for one night in the Lavender Cottage. We arrived to find everything we could possible need, the cupboards stocked with extra blankets, toiletries ect as well as cereals, eggs, a half loaf of sourdough, juice, yoghurts & a selection of teas & coffees available to us. I have never had the pleasure of staying at a cottage as well stocked as this.

The rooms were much more modern then I expected & very comfortable. Shower facilities were wonderfully modern as well. There was also a selection of books, magazines, games/puzzles & DVDs available to use.

The only slight issues we had were with parking (either on the street or across the road which proved a slight inconvenience for packing/unpacking) & the place was a bit of a wifi deadzone. But otherwise we had a great time.

Pauline was a perfect host who could not have been more welcoming or obliging during our stay. The cottage was clean, comfortable and very well appointed. I highly recommend a visit!

Well appointed place, clean and beautiful. Dog friendly. Chocolate, generous breakie supplies and love the range of teas available.

Absolutely gorgeous cottage with everything you need and more! My host Pauline was absolutely amazing, such a lovely person. The heating was on when I arrived, the cottage was perfectly clean and I was even supplied with a generous breakfast hamper. Could not fault. Will be spreading the word and returning for sure!

One of the few places we have stayed where the pressures of life and the world melt away once you walk through the front door and put your suitcases away!

Absolutely wonderful - Pauline has thought of everything and the cottages are set up beautifully. Thanks for everything Pauline and crew. We were here for our daughters wedding at Emu Bottom Homestead on Saturday 19/01/2019. We arrived the day before, there was lots happening and it was just so lovely to get there and know that everything was perfect - many thanks for the bacon/eggs and those extra little touches - it was much appreciated by the whole bridal party. We especially appreciated getting back to clean and beautifully presented cottages upon our return from the wedding late at night. Great location, only 20 minutes from Emu Bottom, 2 minutes from Coles and theres a cafe down the road about 200m if you have time and need it!

We love it at the Mews cottages! This is our third time out to Gisborne and our little cottage called "Magnolia". Its lovely little hidden cottage and provides some much warmth and tranquility. We love relaxing at the cottage or going on walks in the local area. The food provided for breakfast is so lovely and we really enjoy being able to cook our own meals at night. The township of Gisborne is small but lovely to walk around with nice cafe's and shops. Can't recommend coming here enough and come for two nights at least. Do yourself the favour and choice Mangnolia- you will love it!
