We are so happy we choose The Merri Studio to be our videographer on our wedding day! Due to lockdowns and some personal matters, we had to reschedule wedding a few times but Gonzalo was very responsive and understanding from the very start we started discussing our wedding in 2021. Gonzalo was one of the easiest service providers we had on our wedding day. (Probably the easiest to deal with!)

On our wedding day I was a bit nervous and a little stressed due to being behind the timeline of the wedding day prior to the ceremony but Gonzalo's personality was very warm and calming and I cannot thank him enough for not only being an amazing videographer and also for his calming and kind personality. He captured every moment of our special day. Highlights video arrived to us very quickly and we cannot be more happier with how it turned out! Everytime we watch video made by Gonzalo, it gives us goose bumps! We shared our video with our family and friends and they love them very much and they were all impressed at Gonzalo's amazing videography skills. The rest of the video also arrived yesterday and we are so happy how all turned out. He captioned everything perfectly and videos are all super high quality. If we ever do a vow renewal ceremony, we would love to have Gonzalo again for our videographer! We highly recommend The Merri Studio and Gonzalo to everyone who is looking for skilled and professional talented videographer!

Gonzalo was so lovely to work with! An absolute gentleman! He easily adapted to what we did and didn't want from our photos, and he took some of the most beautiful candids of our guests!

Gonzalo did an outstanding job with our wedding videography. He was a professional and approachable videographer who made us feel at ease from the start. We scheduled him during lockdown, and even though we couldn't meet in person, he was happy to meet with us over Zoom and answer all of our questions. Gonzalo was extremely professional in his communications and organisation, and his attention to detail put my mind at ease throughout the process. He was always proactive with detail planning and quick to respond to any questions in the weeks leading up to the wedding. On the wedding day, he arrived on time and worked well with my parents, bridesmaids, and myself (he was even great with our dog!) He also collaborated with our photographer to capture various moments in both mediums. Gonzalo really demonstrated his artistic eye in finding perfect locations for capturing footage - we were also fortunate enough to have his drone taking footage as well. The finished product arrived quickly and was better than we could have imagined. The videos, both the highlight reel and the full piece, perfectly captured the day's roller coaster of emotions, the joy in the air, and the love that surrounded us. In short, choose The Merri Studio if you want a videographer who will go above and beyond to capture your wedding day story, work with you to perfectly fit your needs, and work proactively to keep the entire process smooth.

Gonzalo was incredibly helpful, friendly and professional from our first meeting. On the day itself, he was so lovely guiding us through our shoot, and during our ceremony I felt we were in completely safe hands with him and his colleague. Couldn't recommend Gonzalo enough, having been caught up with covid restrictions and lockdowns he happily rescheduled with us all 4 times. All communication in relation to the videography of our wedding was professional and quickly responded to. The day of he was professional and made us feel at ease that the footage would be of a high quality. We were incredibly happy with the video he sent us and it showed our personalities and the day perfectly with some additional extras. All of the little details added by Gonzalo were just perfect even down to the box and usb that the footage came in was great.

Gonzalo is very professional from beginning to end. We also loved that so many of our guest did not notice that they were being captured on video. The video in different corners capturing every moment was amazing. It all seemed to blend into the background!
Everyone was able to be themselves and Gonzalo was able to capture that and so much of our day, all while being very unintrusive!

The live stream of our wedding was perfect thanks to Gonzalo! We had no technical issues with the stream (even though the wedding was in the Dandenong Ranges which can have unpredictable reception) and Gonzalo was fantastic to work with. Highly recommend!

I didn't actually have the honour of having Gonzalo video my son's wedding however the reason for my review comes from the sincere assistance and great customer service Gonzalo provided when I enquired at the last minute for any possibility to film the event. With five days notice, Gonzalo was willing to give up his one day off in the coming week to help us out. It was only because a family member on the bride's side had already organised a last minute videographer that we didn't book Gonzalo to do it. If Gonzalo's willingness to accommodate my request is any reflection on his professionalism while he works at wedding events, I have no doubt he would be a person who can help make your wedding a memorable one. I would have no hesitation on passing his details on to future couples getting married. I think they would only have to chat with him for a short time to feel confident he could help them complete their wedding experience. Thanks Gonzalo.
