Minx (and Slei, Diana and Steve) is an absolutely fantastic dancer and teacher! She breaks down the moves, takes the class at a good pace, makes it fun and encourages you to get out of your comfort zone just a bit.
Not only that, but the classes are held on the beautiful waterfront (and the aircon is good)! I highly recommend Mbassy for dancers of all levels!

I like that I can learn step by step and I can see progress at the end of each class and also from one class to another. I have confidence that at the end of a term I will be able to dance with my partner even if we are beginners. Trainers are very professional and supportive, the other participants are very nice and motivated, and there is so much fun that time flies and you don't feel tired.
MBassy is a great addition to the Docklands exercise offer, bringing some "art to the movement", and the evening schedule is very convenient!

I have been really enjoying Minx's classes (Reggaeton and Body Isolation Techniques). The choreo is fun and just the right level of challenging, music choice for warm up always on point. But mostly, Minx is just a great teacher, warm and friendly, her energy is very infectious, and she is so patient and really breaks down complex movements in a way that is easy to understand. Plus you get cuddles with resident pup, Uku, in between sessions.

The MBassy is a great place to learn latin styles. Minx is a great teacher who takes the time to really break down the moves so you understand the technique involved and learn to do it properly. Classes are always fun and although I was initially hesitant about signing up for a term, spending the time to learn one routine and nailing it is really rewarding.

The MBassy is a fantastic place for casual dancers like myself to feel part of a community and get their weekly dance in. I highly recommend joining for a term if you're looking to build on one routine and being able to perform it at the end together as a class is super rewarding. I've done lots of casual classes around Melbourne and I can confidently say that Minx is the best teacher I've had. She's knowledgeable, encouraging and importantly fun and relaxed.

Minx is the greatest teacher I’ve had the pleasure of being taught from. She is heavily skilled and yet knows how to not make you feel overwhelmed no matter what your level or background of dancing is. Each class is filled with the best energy and endless laughs thanks to her mastermind. Could not recommend Mbassy more.

The MBassy is the beeeeest
I’ve been taking Minx’s classes for six years and I’ve tried other teachers (to see what else is out there) but honestly NOONE chalks up to Minx.
Classes are small enough that you can get personalised instruction, but big enough that you wont be too self-conscious (if youre like me). We focus on a lot of technique, so you can apply them to any dance style or choreography that you do. The music choices are always great and theres such a supportive team of dancers here too.
I learnt confidence, body movement techniques, posture and a whole lotta twerking in these classes - I cant recommend it enough

Highly recommend Minx at The Mbassy. She is a very skilled and talented dancer in many styles as well as an amazing choreographer and teacher. Her unique personality and style just shines from the moment you meet her. I always come out of her classes feeling more energised and inspired. Her classes are great for beginners through to advanced dancers as Minx is really good at breaking dance moves down from scratch and simplifying them. You can't help but smile every time you do a class with Minx as she really enjoys what she does and you can see that by how much fun she has while teaching.
