The Loft Studio Melbourne

I flew down to Melbourne from Sydney to meet my fully remote team and have our photos taken. I heard about The Loft Studio and fell in love with the space through the photos online. It definitely didn't disappoint!

The lighting was beautiful. The props were stunning, and the facilities available were so thoughtful, including the charging station, tea + coffee, plus a speaker system for music.

Dian even went to the effort of providing us with a cake stand and matches to use for some photo ideas for the business birthday I'd mentioned to her, which made it super helpful!

Due to a blocked path on the driveway as a result of construction work at the time, it was a little tricky to find the entrance of The Loft. But Dian ensured all access instructions were emailed a few days prior to make it easy. (I'm sure it wouldn't have been as difficult if the construction wasn't there haha, but perhaps give yourself an extra 10mins or so just in case!)

It is also important to note the stairs-only access prior to arriving, so you're mindful of needing to carry heavy luggage or equipment up the flights of stairs.

Overall though, this definitely didn't impact our experience at all and we absolutely LOVE the entire space (it's huge) and all of the props available!

The Loft studio feels like home. I had a full day of family winter mini sessions and an extended family photoshoot session. The variety of props and furniture available were amazing and so useful for me to create different styling sets. As a photographer I love my families to have an immersive experience. And with Bluetooth speaker available, a beautiful change room, toilets, aromatherapy and a functional kitchen, it just level up the whole experience for them. Most of my families stayed to have a drink and some snacks as the space was inviting and cosy and aesthetically pleasing. Thank you Dian for your hospitality, would highly recommend this studio space for family photographers.

Beautiful studio with so many different options and areas for different types of photoshoots. We held a photoshoot with 8 people and it ran seamlessly. I absolutely loved the venue and would definitely recommend it and use it again in the future. Thank you for a such a great space. The photos are amazing!

Stunning space, with so much natural lighting.
They have everything you may need for a photoshoot ie makeup room large enough to use a changing room. Bathroom, kitchen and a large space for photographing. Such a gorgeous space for a bridal photoshoot. The only downfall was there is 3 flights of stairs to enter the studio so carrying all the equipment can be difficult but on the other hand a good workout haha.

Fantastic studio and a terrific studio manager. Dian makes everything super easy with great communication.

The studio itself is wonderful! A large, beautiful, light filled space with all the facilities you could possibly want. The only downfall lies within the lack of accessibility in the cotton mills. If you're bringing a lot of props, be prepared with extra hands as there's 3 flights of stairs to get up there. Keep any really heavy gear at home.

The Loft studio is a great space. Perfect for Personal Brand Photoshoots and headshot sessions. My clients love the space and how the images turned out. I will definitely use the space again.

Shooting at The Loft Studio was an absolute dream! The large, light filled space was the perfect backdrop to highlight our jewellery range. We'll be back again for sure:)

I recently used the Loft Studio for one of my regular monthly shoot days and absolutely loved it! Dian not only looks after you to make sure everything runs smoothly, but she has created an AMAZING space for photographers to work in - there are so many different areas to play with, and it offers a variety of furniture and props that makes it easy to create something stunning and unique for each client. My shoot day sold out in no time and I know that was largely because people were excited by the location - I can't wait to run another day there soon!

I have just completed a business branding photoshoot at The Loft and found it to be fantastic. Great setting with so many options and well layed out with wonderful light. Dian is also a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Highly recommend.
