I recently came in with an issue relating to my door handle, with the view of purchasing a new one and was served by Ben. He was extremely helpful and was able to troubleshoot my existing handle saving me from a needing full replacement. Ben's demeanour and experience was very much appreciated and he is a credit to The Lock Shop.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Jim was really great and knew what he was on about. Great service and good value for money. Highly recommend. While the website is user friendly it's worth the drive to go speak with these guys.just be wary of maps it will take you to the back laneway on Solwood lane. The shop entrance is out the front on Railway Rd.

Dean was great. He checked with his supplier that stock wasn't an issue and confirmed this via email, recommended I buy online rather than drive out to collect my goods. (I am Melb based). Paid using his push out invoice and 3 days later, arrived at 7.30am. Thanks heaps!

The sales people at the Blackburn store were really helpful and genuinely tried to find the right product to help solve a problem I had with an usual door set up. I really appreciated that they didn't just give me a "we don't have anything in stock" response, and kept searching until they found the right solution.

Ben is an MVP and offered a big chunk of his time to go through and explain in laymans terms the options and complications of fitting certain combinations of handles with mortice/deadbolt setups and answered all of our questions with a detailed explanation that just made everything so much easier to understand. He was knowledgable (although admitting he was still an apprentice), friendly and a good communicator which isn't super common in these types of industry I find.

Highly recommend coming to this store, there are a good selection of handles and locks on display too. Plus the seats at the counter are surprisingly comfy.

Ordered four Carbine locksets keyed alike, the delivery was free and very fast, the locksets were very well priced and excellent quality and the service was friendly and efficient. They rectified a small problem post haste and were profusely apologetic. Good people.

Ordered via the online store, each item was significantly cheaper than Bunnings, with more options for colours, delivery was free and arrived in 3 days, outstanding service.

5 stars just isn't enough! These guys are amazing. I came across The Lock Shop as I needed to have several different types of locks replaced and I knew nothing about this and didn't know where to start. During my phone call with Tim he explained my options and discussed the possibility of re-keying the locks instead of replacing them to help save some money. Tim also gave me the option of removing the locks myself and bringing them into the store to also assist with some savings which i did. While in store I dealt with Nick and Peter. Nick was talked me through the process and explained more options for ease and money saving. He was patient and answered in depth, ever stupid question I had. He explained the process and gave me realistic wait times. When I came to pick up the locks I spoke with Peter who is so knowledgeable and spent his time (after closing) explaining to me how I could install a tbar lock on my garage myself. I can not thank these guys enough. The service was a cut above the rest (excuse the pun) and I will be more than happy to recommend them at any chance I get!
