Best chicken souvlaki! Great team of staff - happy and helpful - they even turned the music down for us as my elderly fit father has difficulty hearing!

Fantastic service, even better food! Their Reuben and Fries are bossss.make sure you ask for some relish!

Ate here for a family Birthday lunch and the food was delicious. Not the cheapest place to eat but cannot fault the food and the service at all. We were disappointed with the Sunday service fee as we had already spent a fair bit and to see that added in was a surprise. I would eat here again but I would stick to Saturday next time.

The new management are kicking goals at the Little Ox! We had a great breakfast (eggs Beni was fantastic), great coffee and service team were very attentive.

Great with the kids too which always makes it a pleasant time.

This place used to be great. They have raised the prices and reduced the quantities. The food tastes the same. But will have to think twice if it is value for money.

Wow, the new ownership at this place is incredible. Met a few friends here for brunch on Sunday. The food was delicious and the staff were very nice and attentive. Highly recommend the watermelon juice. My friend brought her 1 year old and they were more than happy to provide a high chair and cater for the kid. Will definitely come back.

Sat outside and Felt very rushed by Owner/manager, no introduction or sign he even worked their and Coffee was like warm.

We really enjoyed the food and ambience at this, seemingly family run, Cafe in the suburb streets of Brighton Beach, Victoria. The coffee was as good as anywhere in Melbourne, great selection of food and from the 4 we chose, all were thoroughly enjoyed. The breakfast burrito (special) was a winner

Staffs were not enjoying working there and always ignoring customers, maybe they all need breaks instead of working. Tables weren’t cleaned even when it s quiet when we got seated.

Great place. Brekkie burrito was delicious and so was my flat white. Would definitely come back

What a great little spot, dog friendly and excellent food, along with great service - definitely recommended

I just witnssed a customer receive the wrong order (very similar item to what had been ordered) … to be polite he accepted and ate. No big deal.
I witnessed what looked like the manager complain and winge so loudly “Wouldn’t he say something? ” to his colleagues.
I then saw the worker give the customer his original order AND charge him for the mistaken item that was given.
I was so appalled by the customer service and I will never return to the Little Ox!

Little Ox is our favourite local! Staff are friendly and attentive and food and coffee are excellent. Wife is a HUGE fan of the chilli scrambled eggs, and for me poached eggs with all the sides or Eggs Benedict. We are a tad lazy, so most Sundays (and some week days) we get home delivery via Ubereats and the food travels well! Highly recommend!

Good lunch menu. Everyone was happy with their meal. Pleasant service. Not told when booking it was just a 1 hr time slot. Will come back

Also if your going to call yourself ‘the little ox’ at least try and live up to the creatures hard working reputation.

Service was great, and there was a nice community vibe. The food was also the best I ate in Melbourne! I thoroughly enjoyed the experience here:)
