The Little Man Cafe reviews
33Went there twice during my 3 nights stay in Melbourne. Breakfast and Flat White is awesome and the owner is very kind! I felt very welcome and will definitely come back if I travel again to MEL!
Friendly staff. Very quick and efficient in getting the drinks to the table. The meals took some time to come to the table but when it did, it did not disappoint. The Chinese Fried egg is definitely worth a try if you’re in the area. Will visit again.
What a lovely place to dine. The food is absolutely delicious. Chilli eggs in Hapaese sauce is beautiful.
Currently the best coffee in the inner west, and the breakfast menu is just fantastic: short, varied, interesting, tasty. Absolutely recommend. (The bacon was perfect)
If you like coffee, this a place for you. If you like good food, this a place for you. If you like a nice, chilled atmosphere, with super friendly staff, this place is for you.
I´m a huge fan of coffee, so after having tried their specialty coffee once, I started being a regular at the place. And every time I made it there, I also tried different options from their menu - and they were all good!
Just a little man doing big things.
Food was excellent and table service was exceptional but, the wait for the food was a little longer than I anticipated. The chilli eggs when they did arrive were splendid. I still think they deserve the 5 stars and a repeat visit.
French toast was so so delicious? Coffee was perfect.wonderful quiet and chill cafe.will be back for sure?
Best coffee in the West! You might wait a bit longer for it, but it's 100% worth it because a lot of care is being put into making you the perfect coffee with silky smooth froth.
You won't find none of that burnt milk or burnt coffee taste here, it's consistently great coffee.
Great tasting coffee, but very overpriced. Also if your not a regular they will serve everyone before you, so be prepared to be waiting a while. Will be avoiding this place in the future
Good coffee but $5.75 for a small long black on a public holiday is a bit expensive. Can understand some surcharge but think they are pushing it a bit much
I absolutely love the little man. Toby is a coffee wizard. Watching him on that ipad is like watching a genious at work. He remembers everyone's names. Even if you feel like you never gave it to him. Always friendly and smiling. Could not fault this place!
Absolutely loved the coffee and the shop. It was a happy experience being in their. So light and bright. Made my day. Service was amazing and friendly.
Got a flatwhite for takeaway during lockdown.
The inside of the store was clean, therefore I'd like to revisit for having some food here!
Yummy food, clean spacious high ceiling cool ambiance. Toby the manager is friendly always smile, knows how to make great coffee and how to balance multiple coffee in one hand too! On every table there is a sanitiser to use and QR code to check-in! Will definitely be coming back
I couldn't believe when I visited today that they were giving away FREE coffees to support their local community during lockdown. These guys are amazing! And the coffee is as great as their service, thank you!
Very cosy aesthetic, was a limited menu but food was great. Had the Eggs Benedict and it was great. Came with group of 8 food overall was fantastic!
Limited but an interesting menu, food tastes great. And loved the relaxed vibe of the venue. Compact and friendly.
This is a nice place to chill if you have time to relax and enjoy brunch. Service was a bit slow and we’re pretty cool with it as we were not in a hurry.
Scrambled eggs were as good as they claimed; soft, decadent and super flavourful. Great coffee too.
My fiancé and I came in this morning to have breakfast with 2 other friends who were visiting us from Brisbane. We live in Seddon and were excited to take our friends out for a local breakfast.
Wow! What a disappointment. I was embarrassed that service could be possibly this bad.
Firstly we arrived at the front door only to be looked at by the two people making coffee. There was no welcome or even an acknowledging smile. There were vacant tables available but they still had plates and cups on them.
After standing at the door which felt like for over 5-10 mins I asked the guy making the coffees can we have a table of four.
He replied yes in a very kind friendly way to his credit. Yet, he continued on with the coffees and we stood another 10 mins until he cleared the table so we could sit.
We then sat and ordered coffees. We waited about another 20 mins for the coffees to come. No one came to take our order, I had to get up and ask to be served. By the time the waiter came to take our order it had already been 45 to an hour since the moment we first got to the cafe. We didn’t have time to eat breakfast anymore. So I told him not to worry.
In the end my friends from Brisbane got dropped off to the airport with no food as we wasted our morning waiting on this cafes poor service.
I don’t understand why cafes are so understaffed. Especially on a Sunday. I’ll never come back to this cafe and I certainly won’t be suggesting it. Such a shame considering I live 200 meters from the cafe.
On the plus side the coffee was good but still not worth the 45 min wait to get it.
Little Man arguably has the best coffee in Seddon, and they have perfected the art of Melbourne cafe food.
They're currently only doing takeaway due to COVID-19, and getting back to a sit-down coffee and eggs and Little Man is one of the things I'm most looking forward to.
