Not good
The taste of vegetable is as hell as it can be and I ordered tava roti but they gave me tanduri roti because of their illogical logic so disappointed

Ordered catering for 40 people. Was provided with adequate delicious food, delivered on-time. Very good customer service, and very accomodating for changes in menu and fine tuning that we asked for. Thanks for living upto our expectation and providing a great service.

I ordered Dal Makhani and Shahi Paneer with Paranthas. Believe me, when I say that it brought my country's taste back to me. I am blessed to find this hidden gem in Westall Marketplace?

The best place for good quality, affordable Indian food. Absolutely love the Chole kulcha and samosas. Very good quantities and delicious too! The staff is friendly and welcoming. A very underrated restaurant that needs more recognition. Definitely recommend it to anyone who loves a good deal and good service.

Reducing 3 stars and giving 2 star rating as last 2 times (recent one purchased 27/06/21 arvo) bucket biryani was below average, burnt chicken pieces n rice not cooked properly.

Situated in the food lane, this little Indian Cafe delivers a small punch on Wallet and big punch on taste and quality.

During current on-going lockdown, I had done a take-away for Methi/Cream Chicken (forgot the name now but was in these two) with tawa roti and Channa Bhature on another order.

Order taker on call was extremely calm and patience, was not trying to rush up, explained nicely about the order and helped me with it.

The chicken was amazing, tasted really good, was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating to take the pic. If you are a chicken lover, do not miss this one. They can prepare it as per your taste and can adjust the spicy level as you like, just tell them.

The stand out beside chicken was the Roti, made of absolute Atta (wholemeal flour). What an amazing taste, simply outstanding. The best Roti bread I have had in a long time in South East Melbourne. Highly Recommended.

As for Channa Bhature, they taste outstanding and excess oil I believe is drained out of the bread. The chickpeas are cooked delicious and is being accompanied with curd/raita and mixed pickle will tingle your taste buds even more.

Overall I have found them consistent across my two orders and will be returning again and share the good word with my circa. Keep up the good show guy's.

We've always ordered food for our party's and gatherings from here. Food is always top notch - be it veg biryani or the chat starters, cut mirchi. Subbu from Little Indian Cafe always responds and recommends the most delicious dishes. Their chilli baby corn was a big hit, also the cut mirchi. Food and service is excellent.

Loved the food, decor needs a bit of work. Heavy rock music wasnt my 1st choice at an Indian restaurant, but the food was so good had to give it 5 stars

Really nice, generous, friendly staff. Forget its size, this restaurant provides absolutely tasty curry and dosa. We will definitely come back and try more curries in this restaurant.

Very polite staff and the food is amazing. One of the best biryanis and kulchas I have had in melbourne. Ordering via phone for pick-up is not a hassle at all. Definitely a must try.

Again very disappointed. Last night we got takeaway bucket of goat biryani which we have ordered several times before from this cafe.
. $75.for lots of bones with very small quantity of meat. We have spoken to them several times and given this feedback but it hasn't changed.

. Not eating here again.

Much Much Better Biryani, huge quantity of meat and rice for same price at Dosa Hut, Clayton.

Private space for bar at top floor, all you can eat Fri-Sun all day buffets at $20, private space for parties for 60pax with competitive prices and wide range of Indian, Afgani food. Love the place, food!

Surprised to see updated ambience!

We went here last night for dinner with my wife and son and there's no regrets. I can see why they got the near 5 star reviews. It's not just the food that explodes with taste, generous serves but also the friendly and welcoming nature of the hosts.

I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting that real Indian flavor with hospitality to match

Could swear by their biryani and chana bhatura. The buffet menu is decent too. I like their food overall but the ambiance is a bummer. Could use a renovation.

My husband and i went to The Little Indian cafe tonight for the first time and it won't be the last.

We absolutely loved every morsel of food that was served to us. Subbu, the owner, generously allowed us a tasting of some of his key dishes and we were blown away.

The staff were all friendly, good was fresh and very tasty. I highly recommend this little family run restaurant to anyone.

I’m extremely fussy with biryani, I ordered goat biryani and it was by far one of the best biryanis I have had, great butter chicken and lamb vindaloo, I will definitely be back. Staff are very accommodating and friendly

Worst Indian food. I ordered gobi 65 biryani yesterday and the only thing I got was some rice and uncooked gobi. There were no spices, no salt nothing. It was the worst food I ever had. I guess if you guys don't know how to cook gobi 65 biryani take it out of your menu.
