Best little coffee shop in Highet. Service is amazing, food hits the spot, and I have never had a bad experience there. Go grab a coffee, take a friend, and enjoy.

Amazing service, friendly staff, good food what else do you need!? Ohh, it's dog friendly with outdoor seating available so your pupper can join you! Definitely recommend it if you're near Highett.

This place is a hidden gem, tucked away in the tiny strip of shops.

I’ve been coming here for a while. I usually go a burger and share a small serve of yummy chips, but thought I would sample something different today: open chicken Shawarma. I was not disappointed! Belatedly, I forgot to take a pic of my meal at the start; with my friend’s Eggs Benedict, with cute muffins, tasty pork & perfect crackling. Followed by an Iced Coffee (hold the ice, please! Just give me the ice cream)

Drove past this place and thought must come back with husband to try. So we went and had coffees (soy lattes and flat white) and he had multigrain toast with bacon and hashbrowns, while I had avocado smash on multigrain with corn, goats cheese and a side of halloumi. Note avo smash came with poached eggs which husband ate as I don't like eggs and again I wonder why every avo smash at every place has to come with poached eggs? The coffees were really nice and venue has all your milk alternatives covered (soy, oat, almond) and food great. Generous serving size and couldn't finish mine. An interesting menu too. Lots of seating inside and outside and I was tempted to takeaway a delicious looking muffin, but resisted. Location is near some cute street art as well. 23.8 group of us for coffee and muffins. I had a soy latte and a cheese and tomato toastie.

This cafe is warm and inviting, nice clean environment and the staff were attentive and pleasant. The food was amazing, the pancakes, poached eggs, bacon, kids meals and hashbrowns were all really delicious and the coffee was very very good. Nice vibes inside with outside tables for a sunny day. Highly recommend The Little Elephant in Highett. And yes the pictures on Google look like the food they served. Amazing!

Such potential but the pastry selection is always warmed in the microwave, not toasted which makes them soggy and chewy. Menu food is average but expensive, staff are cordial but not warm/ friendly

Attended for brunch with family over the Christmas period. Ordered the salmon bun. Food was delicious and staff were friendly and efficient

We had the express lunch special, tempura fish (barramundi) salad and chips plus a drink. Delicious Crispy tempura batter on good portion of fish, yummy chips and rocket salad. We had a coffee but wine was available fir the special. At $20 a head we were impressed. Will go again.

Cute little cafe in Highett. We went here for brunch and ordered the ham hock eggs benedict and Vietnamese omelette, and both were delicious. Coffees were also really smooth tasting and well balanced.

There's also an outdoor area, making it dog friendly!

I love this place. Lovely, friendly staff who go out of their way to be helpful, remember names and orders, and provide good conversation ; beautiful food with quality, considered ingredients; great coffee (and the best matcha latte in the area!) ; comfy seating options indoors and outdoors. I like to come here and sit in the window seats to work on my computer. And also just to have a refreshing social interaction: I always leave feeling appreciated!

Staff attentive without being in your face. We both ordered what we wanted forgot my glasses. Didn't bother these guys. Even bacon was crispy without asking. How did that happen take your dog. Everyone else does

Fabulous chicken burger that had chips in it and if you're lucky your wife gives you her pickles to add in. Read the menu and already planned to come back again to try more stuff. Good friendly service. Be back soon.

Such a great vibe at this cafe! Lots of indoor and outdoor seating, great location with plenty of parking, friendly staff, and the food and coffee was 10/10. Will be back for sure.

Absolutely deciduous meal, coffee and service. Rachel and Sienna were appropriately attentive, kind and hilarious. The Sweet As Bro and lattes were spot on. I've been here a few times and it's always exceeded my expectations.

Ordered a large latte…it was delivered in a large cup but was only 2/3 full at best and had “reg” written on the too…even left my change as a tip
