The Lighthouse Cafe Thai Restaurant

Party of three shared green curry with beef, yellow curry with chicken and satay chicken. Lots of meat and vegetables in all the dishes and they were delicious. Service was very prompt and the staff were excellent. Best Thai restaurant in Victoria.

I expected to see more Thai dishes on the menu. The menu is a mixture of South East Asian cuisine rather than a pure Thai restaurant. Food was fresh and tasty.

As a local, me and my partner have tried all the Thai / Asian places on the peninsula. This is by far the best. Great service as well and really well priced. Thanks team we will be coming back all the time.

This place has the best Thai food that I have had in a long time. Dishes were flavoursome, tasty and authentic and the serves were a good size. They also have some dishes that are a bit different from your run of the mill Thai places. I suggest going during the week when it is quieter, as the place gets very noisy and they could do with looking at some sound absorption. I would have given it 5 stars if the dining room was quieter. Highly recommended

So I walk in ask for 2 take away coffee's as they are also a "CAFE" and the wonderful lady replys oh I'm so sorry can't make you coffee as I'm under-staffed. (what for the punch line) and goes on to say you can come back tomorrow and I'll be happy to make you one.how disgusting and how some people should not run a business. Mind you she had 1 table of people dining in. Go figure.

Delicious Thai. The service we received as a walk in for take away was brilliant. Will definitely eat here again.

Satay Chicken and coconut rice was amazing. It's a great little place for dinner. It gets busy, so book a table ahead of time.

Dissatisfied, stuff stringy beef slices massamum curry, hoping you’ll improve and use chunky beef cuts, happy to pay more for quality.sauce & nan bread was delicious

Food was awesome. Their peanut sauce is to die for. Chicken skewers were the best. FAST service, as if they knew our order beforehand. In n out within 10 minutes. Padh thai and Chicken fried rice were amazingly delicious. HIGHLY Recommend it!

Lots of meat and vegetables too n the dishes.
Not just sauce and noodles.
If really being picky, I would have like tamarind in the Pad Thai. Next time I will ask.

Have been coming here and getting takeout for years, and it never disappoints. There have been slight delays sometimes as outlined in other reviews but nothing worth the fuss being made. Have always had delightful meals full of flavour. Love the duck curry, fish cakes and coconut rice are particularly my favourite!
