I don't think my review can do this place justice!
Outstanding daycare, my daughter has been enrolled since she was 9 months (she's now almost 2.5 years old). I am genuinely bowled over at her development, she's learned so much and I know this is in part down to TLS.

Every educator is friendly, attentive and kind. The centre is incredible, especially the outdoor area, I love that all the rooms connect to the outside so the children can all interact together. The food provided is super varied and healthy!

Centre management are also lovely and know all the children by name.

Book a tour, it's well worth it!

I've had my child here from the nursery to finishing Kindergarten. Highly recommended given the COVID situation we are in. The structured Kindergarten program has been fantastic in regards to development and the transition to primary school appears to be seamless. Carers and educators put in time and effort. Continue the great work here, I would recommend this centre to anyone.

Management and educators are great, thoughtful and warming. I should move my oldest one to this centre earlier (she change from other childcare to this center at Kindy level), but now my other little one starts her journey from the begining at Nursery 1. Our kids are happy.

I just had a tour on Friday and regrettably I have to said no immediately when i was shown the 1st room for children between 12- 24mnths because of the following reasons:

1. The room just have a few old dirty books whereas his previous centres they provided heaps of books in each room for the kids to choose which one they are interested in and bring to the educator to read for them. In additions they even borrowed some books from the library from time to time. -> This presentation tells me that the Footscray centre does not focus on teaching young children in reading books.

2. Almost no toys - I was shocked when I see that the kids just have few toys to play with. At his previous one, the kids are provided with plenty of toys, from education to imagination toys. -> the room's presentation indicates that the centre's does not care for the interest of the young children. Which i also can clearly see that so many kids are crying in the room (please note that i have sent him to another 3 centres and doesn't matter what time I pick up my son, the kids in there are clean and so happily playing. From memory i hardly see any one crying).

3. Room, furniture and toys look old and dirty. I have never seen any dirty room like this in any centres that my son have been.

P/S: My son have been staying at the centres in the city so their facilities are much better than what i have seen here. Hence I might have high expectations when I look for the centre in Maribyrnong area. In the worse case that i could not find a good one in the area, I will have to make a day tour for his own sake.

Very happy with the carers, atmosphere and clenlyness of this centre. Both of my Children absolutely loved it there and I always know they are being well looked after and supported. The manager is also fantastic and great to deal with.

My daughter has been attending since they opened and the staff have supported her through out her transitioning between rooms as she has grown. The benefits of sending my daughter here are seen every time she comes home wether she has learnt a new skill or made a good friend. There are no tantrums when i drop my little one off of a morning, she is happy to goto daycare and see her friends and educators. Knowing my daughter is happy, safe and taken care of is so important to me. Thank you TLSF.

My daughter is not one easy to please. I placed her in childcare a little late and she had trouble adjusting. Thank you everyone for putting up with her screams and taking turns with her. She is now enjoying the Centre’s large outdoor play and having fun with her friends, much more than staying at home.

Lovely educators and staff that really care about my little guy. It's a real pleasure to drop him off and see him settle so happily.

Putting my baby into childcare at such a young age was really daunting to me but the educators in the nursery rooms have been extremely welcoming and have made his transition into the childcare environment extremely easy. His development since beginning child care has been amazing to say the least, and i can only thank his amazing educators for encouraging his development the way they have. The facility is beautiful and very well kept with so many experiences for the children to play learn and enjoy.
Would highly recommend this center to families.

Staff were unfriendly after they knew my girl was leaving for a long holiday, specially on the last day, when we picked her up she was stank, there were 3 staff, nobody noticed she had poo, it was all over her pants and clothes, it was so disgusting! I had to fix it myself, I paid for the services and I had to do it, what a joke! Also when we were leaving, no one wanted to say goodbye to us, just pretended they were busy, yeah, that"s right, too busy to say goodbye!

The center in charge person was very unfriendly. She keeps on raving about their waiting list and point to the folder she has on how long the waiting list is instead of trying to explain the benefit of sending my child here. Definitely not the place I would feel comfortable sending my child over.

Choosing a childcare centre in a very competitive area could not be more stressful and emotional but I am SO relieved and happy to secure a place for my child at the Learning Sanctuary. The food is incredible and not limited in portions like other centres (check out the chef's instagram account @tasy_little_tree), the design of the centre and the activities/toys maximise children's learning, the educators always give me time to debrief my child's day and the administrative staff are incredible. They freely give tim, quick to communicate updates and reply to queries, and are emotionally supportive especially in the early days when you feel guilt and stress with how your child will be. Thank you to Ash-Lee and team.

The Learning Sanctuary Footscray is the best place for any child to grow and develop. Here the way the educators take care towards children is so amazing, they take particular care on each & every child. As parents it is the most satisfying experience when we see the way Educators are involved in children's development. I would recommend this centre to anyone.

My daughter has been attending The Learning Sanctuary Footscray for the past fortnight and has been loving it. The 4 orientation sessions she did prior helped her (and me!) ease into childcare world! The staff are wonderful and friendly, attentive and dedicated to their jobs, the food is absolutely amazing (great chef! Check out @tasty_little_tree on instagram) and lovely educational toys and facilities. I would recommend this centre to anyone!

We’ve been absolutely thrilled by how well our daughter has settled in to The Learning Sanctuary. She has never come home from childcare before and immediately asked if she can go back! The staff are incredibly warm and every time I go in I see children in their arms. The kinder staff are exceptional and I can’t wait to see how she develops next year. Communication between the centre and parents is excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending the centre to anyone who is looking.

The centre looks great and is up to date with great fancy new educational things for children. Our experience with the director however was very unprofessional! It was misleading information and a complete lack of communication that made us decide not go through with this centre. The amount of dodgy excuses we were told on why we hadnt been contacted for weeks whilst waiting for a call back was unbelievable and unacceptable. It actually made me feel quite uncomfortable and unwelcome.
