We have loved the whole process of going into Leigh's studio to have our baby's photos taken and seeing the fantastic end results (we’ve been to 4 sessions now!). As first time parents, we were particularly nervous for the newborn photoshoot as it was our first time taking the baby out. But we had nothing to worry about as Leigh provided a detailed and reassuring phone consultation beforehand outlining how to best prepare our baby for the photoshoot and what to expect. On the actual day itself, we could see straight away that Leigh is an experienced professional – from the way she handled the baby, to her amazing studio and special equipment and props for babies. We highly recommend Leigh and her photography services to all our family and friends. Thank you Leigh for all the beautiful photos you have given us of our little one!

We recently had our newborn photo session at The Latent Image Photography, which was a follow-up from the earlier maternity session. From the initial phone consultation, through to the photo shoot and then finally the photo selection, Leigh makes you feel at ease with the whole process. Leigh is a great communicator so you know what is going to happen and what you have to do. Best of all, the photos are amazing – we couldn’t be happier with the results. And Leigh’s ability with babies is remarkable to witness – she is calm, reassuring us so we felt confident with her and our baby responded positively by sleeping through the session so all the amazing photos could be captured wearing such beautiful outfits in all the different scenes.

I had a newborn photoshoot done for my daughter at Latent Image and Leigh (the photographer) was amazing from start to finish. Not only was she lovely, patient and understanding but her skills and talent are out of this world! Leigh is very professional and responsive to all the questions. We at first a bit concern as our baby was very unsettle on the day of shooting, however, Leigh was very patience and tried her very best to calm the baby for the whole session. The photos quality comes out very great too, and we ended up purchasing extra photos on top of our package.

The Latent Image recently did my newborn and family photos. We chose the Lifestyle session in the new studio which is absolutely stunning!

Every parent loves their children and I am sure that they always want to record and mark the moments of growth and maturity through each period of their children because so do I! After a lot of research and rigorous selections, I decided to book at the Latent Image Photography and I am absolutely satisfied with it.
Leigh was very professional and friendly, which is very important for babies and kids. I was kind off sad because I missed the opportunity to take a maternity photoshoot and a 2 weeks old newborn photoshoot due to lock down of the covid pandemic, but I was so happy to book for a cake smash session when my baby girl turn one. Leigh has shoot for a lot of kids from different backgrounds but I feel that the clothes, the backdrops, the photography style, the fonts, her edit skills are very different and unique compare to other places, which is very suitable for all babies and children, can highlighting their own beauty and remarkable expression through every picture.
Thus, Leigh's working attitude is very relaxed, welcoming, easy for parents to cooperate and work with. I was absolutely delighted and happy when I received the turn out photos, they are all cute and beautiful. I was also a bit worried at first so I just paid for the normal package but after I see the results I have purchased more for the album, the prints because I thought it was worth it.
I rarely write any review because I think everyone has different feelings and expectations but I highly recommend all parents, especially Asian parents to book and work with Leigh. She is amazing, professional, definitely worth to spend your money at her studio. Im so glad that I have a chance to experience it and I want to share it with all the parents out there who is looking and considering, you wont regret it!

We had our son's smash cake for his first birthday done by Leigh and we cannot love it enough! Everything was beautiful and professional from the first contact till the end result. The studio is beautiful, everything matched our theme and we all had fun doing the smash cake. The photos turned out even more magical, they are hanging on our hallway entrance wall and we get many compliments when ever someone comes over and sees it. We will be doing all our future professional photos with Leigh. The price is great for the value, quality and professionalism, as well as flexibility with timings of the shoot, which was such a big stress reliever for us. Thank you Leigh!

A huge thankyou to Leigh - The Latent Image! We came back for our second baby and was equally as great.if not better than the first bub's photo shot. Only this time with more challanges such as COVID safe principles.
The entire experience was unbelievable. The communication prior to the session. The introduction before the shoot on the day. And then the photoshoot itself. Your skill and eye are amazing. You made our bub (and 3 year old) look adorable.all while keeping them safe and happy.
Your collection of props is mind blowing. And your willingness to allow the parents to be involved in the costumes was really really appreciated.

I could not recommend Leigh and Latent photography more highly. As a midwife I know how challenging it can be dealing with new born babies. The calm and gentle approach given and the warm welcoming environment is exactly what a new born mother needs. I have used twice with both kids and I am forever grateful to Leigh for the quality of the memories created. There are some photographers that take photos but not many who create art. Move over Anne Geddes! The photos of my beloved daughters could appear in any magazine or book due to the high quality and angles achieved. Props and background choices are endless. Is there more than 5 stars?
