The Lancefield Lodge

We held out Company offsite at the Lancefield lodge and and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

The venue, food, setup and hospitality was faultless and this meant that our team could just relax and have a great time connecting as a group.

Danni was patient, responsive and had great insight into the local area - no request was too much for her and the team. Run, don't walk to book a stay or event here!

I had the most DELICIOUS lunch at the lodge today. Incredible service & such a lovely setting. I have found my new favourite eatery in the area & can’t wait to return!

Just an ok place to stay.
We don't stay in motels often so maybe our expectations are unrealistic.
But a room fronting the highway mid week in winter and not school holidays costing $149 didn't feel like great value.
No streaming service.
No restaurant.
The plaster cornice cracked and coming away from the walls and felt tired.
I just feel like I'm describing a much cheaper room than what we paid.
Kilmore isn't far away and being a much bigger place offers more choice and the competition that comes with that.

Such a gem of a place! The cosy rooms appeared newly painted and decorated. The beds were great, the showers hot and strong. The smoker who sat outside our room sitting on a bench clearly marked no smoking was an issue.told the owner about the pile of ash in the morning- he seemed to know who it was otherwise really good.

My partner and his family, along with their family friends, stayed here recently, and we all got the absolute best service. The staff were accomodating of all our needs, the rooms were clean and thoughtfully supplied with everything you might need! Within a short walk to the main strip of shops, I would highly recommend staying here if you are passing through Lancefield.

A great chilly weekend away we had at this Lodge. Greeted with a smile from Danielle who checked us in and booked us in for dinner at the Lodge. Was not just a place where you book just a room but they had a nice games room where we chilled in for hours playing pool before dinner and after dinner. Never once we felt chilly at the Lodge every area was cosy and warm. Food was great it was like we having a nice cosy meal near fireplace and felt like home. Servers were great. Love the fact they have pizza van as well outside the courtyard. If we ever pass by Lancefield we will surely be back.

Perfect for a couple's getaway. A beautiful place with a good service. Restaurant is also perfect.

We didn't stay at the accommodation, but we had a lunch there. The food was above average. There were 4 of us and we all tried the Pies. My son and his wife had the pork belly, hubby had the beef cheeks and I had the lamb shank pie. It was delicious! Nice to try home made pie with wedges and broccolini. We were surprised at the good quality of the meal and the unassuming exterior of The Lancefield Lodge, which is deceptive as it is a lovely, quaint little place inside.

Our hosts Peter and Danielle greeted us with real country friendliness. Our room was clean, welcoming and well set out. The pool was refreshing after a long travel day. We had a delicious dinner above and beyond for a small country town, it was not too expensive, staff were very friendly and chef to be complimented. We would stay here again any time.

Friendly atmosphere generated by the hard working hosts. Food is great and drinks reasonably priced.

Wow. Blown away by the value of our stay at The Lancefield Lodge! The biggest surprise was the meal. What a fabulous dining experience. Far surpassed our expectations of on-site dining in a country motel. The next treat was the beautiful buildings and rooms. Great overall aesthetic with attention to detail obvious in every space we visited. If anything, they’re hiding its light under a bushel with the very unassuming facade. The hosts were warm, personable and beautifully accomodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will be recommending it to all of our friends that visit the Macedon Ranges. Excellent value for money and a very well put together business. Also, Peter makes a cracking good milkshake! Well done, guys. Very impressive.

Second time back at Lancefield Lodge and we couldn’t have had a better time. Spacious room, comfortable beds and an absolutely awesome pool. Thanks very much Danielle and Peter.

Very impressed by the professionalism of all staff, the quality of the place and ammenities! Loved the sauna and pool. Suited us well for a stay whilst DJing a wedding down the road at Lancemore! Keep it up! We will be back!

Lovely lodge with above standard motel accomodation. Fabulous friendly hosts with an awesome beer garden. Highly recommended stop.

The rooms at Lancefield Lodge were really welcoming…. Tastefully redecorated and homely, with parking outside your room. The room itself had more amenities than any hotel I’ve stayed in, including microwave, toaster and coffee machine, but also a basket of goodies to choose from at an extra charge should you want them. The bar was well stocked and the restaurant was warm and cosy with a roaring fire. The food was absolutely superb. I was there for work and the Conference facilities were also excellent.
Shame we didn’t have time for a swim, but as good excuse to return one day to explore the local area, which was beautiful.
All in all a great place to stay with very welcoming proprietors in Danielle and Peter - thank you!

I am actually staying in one of the rooms now and couldn't help but write this review because I am so impressed with lancefield lodge!
The rooms are clean, beds are super comfortable, facilities are amazing, a games room with pool table, table tennis and even a pool and sauna.it was too cold to use the pool but we indulged in dining in the restaurant on site. The ambiance and quality of food were so impressive and very affordable. I will come back here in a heartbeat.

The purpose of our visit was a luncheon for members of the Porsche Club of Victoria at the conclusion of a (social) car run day.
Danielle and Peter put on a delicious and eye pleasing two course lunch for the thirty members in attendance at a very reasonable price. Their courteous and friendly staff made us feel most welcome.

Order the steak. It’s really good. The open fire roars over winter. Wood cask Negroni and awesome local wine list. Always have an enjoyable night at the Lodge. My favourite local. Oh, and can’t wait for summers in the beer garden with live music.

The place itself is gorgeous. Food was fantastic and the staff were absolutly lovely. Massive thank you to Danielle and Peter who took such good care of me after my erm. "Mishap" You went above and beyond. Thank you so much.
