What a fantastic old school timber and hardware. A great reminder of how good this industry was before Bunnings.
They're not the friendliest staff to be honest. I was after some assistance and was treated in a very offhand manner - almost as if I was being a nuisance by asking a question. I hate to say that Bunnings in Bairnesdale are far more friendly.
Stopped in to get some hooks to hang a curtain rod, the staff were friendly and very helpful and they had a Hugh range. I highly recommend the place

Typical, old fashioned country service which is hard to find these days. Great range of hardware, timber, plants and more. Good solid advice that steers you in the right direction and all in a compact little place that doesn't see you walking miles of aisles just to find a roll of tape or a garden tool. Perfect place to pick up that item you forgot to complete a project or begin a new one. Friendly, helpful staff who have time to help you, highly recommend them!

I called in at 4.35pm to see if a delivery was possible, delivery man was out of town did not matter organised another staff member and car to drop my supplies off, they beat me home at 4.55!

Went to the other hardware store in lakes entrance, service was fingers pointing the way, even that was incorrect, went to lakes timber and hardware received the service and advice that I expect from any retail store I visit, so I spent my $100.00 there, but also any hardware I might need in future.
