Fun experience overall, friendly staff, food was great! Been here a few times and have been happy each time!
A good place to sit and relax even if its just for a quick coffee and newspaper!

Wouldn’t bother returning with that ridiculous 10% surcharge on weekends.
A really simple lunch was $100 for 2 adults and a child…. Not worth it. Head elsewhere for that cost.

This is the best Jolley Millers by far I have been to at Altona. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food we had was amazing and was just a lovely experience

Do not order the banana smoothie.

We had the ricotta hotcakes and banana bliss smoothies.

The ricotta hotcakes was good, a huge heaping of butter on top, fluffy hotcakes, and a lot of berries on the side with some maple syrup.

The banana smoothie was bad, cant taste the banana much, its mostly milk and ice cream blended. Not good at all, the portion was mostly bubbles / froth at the top, when I wiggled it down it was a lot less, and the straw they gave me was dirty. Disappointed.

Overall, average.

I asked the staff if chicken is halal she said yes, then asked her for one chicken Caesar, nearly finished the sandwich I found a pink meat!
I asked staff what's that!
She said PORK! AND SAID YOU ASKED ME ABOUT CHICKEN ONLY!
SHE WAS SO RUDE, DIDN'T SAY SORRY EVEN!

Came here on a busy brunch time.
Love the place but the orientation is very cramped at the bottom side of the restaurant.

Thai beef salad, Caesar salad were what we got to clinch our hunger with a dose of liquid brown coffee.

Coffees and food were absolutely on point.
Silkiness of the coffee was amazing.
Thai beef salad had that crunchy taste to it which was amazing and Caesar salad was good as well.
Portion side could be improved but never the less it was good.

Would I come back -Yes

Heavily understaffed. 30 minutes for a juice. Ridiculous! Put more people on the drinks and less people fluffing around walking the floor

Shopping in Safeway next door at 9.30pm when leaving noticed Jolly Miller Cafe door blowing open in the wind it was a terrible night weather wise. I also saw a man inside trying to open the till. I rang police immediately and waited outside being abused by the fellow who had been inside Jolly Miller Cafe very scary. A week later I walked into the cafe to find out if the police had contacted them on that night and hoped they had not lost stock etc. The manager at the time looked at me said yes she knew about the incident glared and indicated for me to step aside so she could serve the lady behind! I thought a Thank you would have been nice, what has happened to common decency. I have emailed management without a reply so don’t care how good or bad the food is there it makes me sick to think I waited 20 minutes for the police to come in bad weather when I could have been home with my daughter who is in palliative care! The one star I didn’t give you 0 isn’t low enough.

Such an average yet expensive cafe.
The food is overpriced for what you get and they charge 80c for soy milk and $6 for a large coffee.
Almost $7 for a large soy latte, that's ridiculous.

Only place where I always wait 2379503 mins to get a simple take away coffee since they make good ones.

Visited here for lunch yesterday during school holidays. Despite it being very busy, we were served promptly and seated at a clean table. The staff were very friendly. Menu has an extensive range of food to choose from for breakfast, lunch and kids. They also have a large vegetarian/vegan range too and a beautiful selection of afternoon tea/snacks/ice cream at their bench. The food portions were quite large and tasty. Definitely recommend coming here for a reliable, tasty meal. It's kid friendly, but can be a little narrow in spots if you are trying to make your way through with a pram.

A great dining experience topped off with a chauffeur driven stretch Maserati Limousine provided by RSV Limousines.

Great food whether you eat in, take away or get it delivered to your doorstep, I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Wonderful place, modern yet elegant. Delightful food and a vast selection to choose from. Staff are wonderful and are there when you need them but don't bother you tso much as to get you annoyed with their service.

This is a fab place to dine. The cafè feels spacious and welcoming, and natural light floods in through a vast wall of windows that runs down one side of the cafè. Seating is a combination of regular tables and chairs as well as booths. The staff were pleasant, attentive and well turned out.
The menu is substantial and varied, with plenty of choice no matter your dietary requirements. Portion sizes are good and definitely value for money. The food I had (vegetable bruschetta) was cooked to perfection and choc full of flavour. It was good to see hot chips that weren't yellow or in shoestring form. Nice to know some cafès take hot chips seriously. The Flat White coffee I had was smooth and had a gentle flavour to it.
Do dine here if you're in the area. It's a great dining experience.

Ordered ubereats and two drivers left because their food was not ready. Received after two hours. Meant to be breakfast but having it as a lunch now

Beautiful little venue with very understanding staff. You could see the smiles from behind the masks as they went out of their way to help customers.
As a member of the not able to eat much due to gastric sleeve surgery club, they were very accommodating with me, modifying my meal and reducing the overall cost.
Best of all, great feed of Salmon Eggs Benedict
