The Jolly Miller Cafe

My first time at this cafe. Great service and a big menu. Atmosphere was good. Wide range of drinks on offer. A big selection of cakes and lighter menu options in display cabinet. Great place to visit with friends and have a sneaky brunch.

Friendly, attentive staff. Good food and drinks served efficiently. Indoor and outdoor seating available. The Belgian Iced Chocolate was a real treat. Reasonable prices. Clean premises. Plenty of parking in the Shopping Centre car park out front.

Ham and cheese toastie took 20 mins to serve (I gave a gentle reminder halfway) waitress didn’t bring to table as she was running around frantically. Cafe looked understaffed

It's ok but not recommended if someone looking for Halal options.
A bit on the expensive side too.

Outstanding service and great food. I felt like I was dining at a restaurant. Staff are well dressed and just so kind. My friend and I sat outside to enjoy a bit of sun and the table was a little wonky and the lady voluntarily fixed it so we could sit and enjoy a meal properly - there aren’t many cafes that would do that without asking!

Totally ignored for close to ten
minutes even though I was the only person at the countrr. 15% surcharge because it is a public holiday. And all I bought was a couple of take-away cupcakes.

I had the brekky bruschetta. It was a generous meal size, and came out reasonably quick. The staff were friendly and accommodating to our restless toddler niece.

OMG, fantastic. The waiter we had was wonderful. He looked after two of us who have Coeliac really well. So lovely and really listened to my son with Aspergers. I can't praise them enough. Will definately come again.

Nothing bad to say about this place. Reasonable food, reasonable price, reasonable service.

If you want a treat go here, you can have a traditional or you can really spoil yourself and chose something that you would normally pass up.

Nice cafe with reasonable selection of typical cafe fare and light meals. Prices are at the higher end of average range. Quite spacious place to eat, either inside or outside.

Not sure what has happened to The Jolly Miller. Used to be great service and food and now awful! Waited 5 minutes to be given a menu and then another 15 minutes to see if anyone would take our order and nothing. There might have been 3 other people in the whole place. We walked out, not good enough and won't be going back again. Good luck retaining business

Nice but very expensive, order ricotta pancakes but could have a lot more strawberries or blueberries with it just one strawberry cut into quarters and a couple of blueberries. Not enough

The food was delicious. The right value for money. That's what you are expecting from a place you can go to everyday weekend or on weekdays.

First time customer. Ordered seafood fettuccine and calamari salad. Really really good and fresh. Worth the extra price. Me and my partner were so happy. Thank you!

We absolutely love this Jolly Miller. Tracy and her team are awesome. Great food, great coffee and great service. Best cafe in the area, will definitely be back!

Nice to have somewhere to eat in altona meadows again, the service is great and the chili crab scrambled eggs were delicious.

Great vibe, decor and presentation. Huge space. Coffee is great and was very pleasantly surprised to have gotten latte art on a takeaway cup. Lovely!

This is my very first review for everything, and because of Tracy. We were neighbor for 5 years here in Altona Meadow before Tracy and Huu left us to Altona. Tracy is born to be a super star in hospitality always have big smile in her face. Tracy had 2 stores in city and did the best of Banh mi in town. A person who will have her heart on every little thing, great with others and always treat friends with full of respect. I believe Tracy has so much to offer and will add a lot of value to the store. You guys are having one of the best. It was so excited to see Tracy again and working at one of the local Café.

Amazing food and friendly staff. There was a really cute dog which made the experience better and so good that they have a doggy menu. So why not treat your dog when you have lunch
