The Jolly Miller Cafe

The best café in this part of town: the food is great - all your usual eggs, burgers, granolas etc plus some excellent South East Asian noodle dishes. The coffee is excellent. There's a wide selection of cakes and pastries to eat in or take away. It's big, but not noisy and the decor is fresh, simple and welcoming. Bathrooms are clean and accessible. There's under cover outdoor seating that is dog-friendly and plenty of parking. The staff are friendly and helpful. Great for breakfast, brunch and lunch any day of the week.

This place is one of my favourite cafes, it’s always a lovely experience walking in. They know how I take my coffee and always deliver with a smile not to mention the fast and prompt customer service. The menu is so good as there is so much to chose from, I have NEVER had a bad meal or even bad service from this place! Well done guys, keep up the amazing work!

I've been ordering from this cafe for about 2 years. (via uber eats) I have never had a bad experience, the food is always perfectly cooked, hot and clearly made with care. Consistency is the sign of a great chef and you guys knock it out of the park!

I definitely recommend this cafe food and drinks for drinks I definitely recommend a banana smoothie and for the food I recommend anything on the menu it’s delicious! Service is great staff are friendly, the only reason the atmosphere is 4 is Because the seats were quite dirty but overall It’s a great cafe!

The Jolly Miller serves a great coffee and muffin. There were plenty of spaces do it was easy to sit back and read Saturday's paper will drinking and eating. There seemed to be a reasonably brisk trade so it seems to be in favour with the locals.

Nice spacious cafe with very quick and delightful service. The food is fine. There is much parking all around.

This cozy cafe situated in Balwyn north did not disappoint! Very friendly and efficient service! Food was great too! Seeing how hard all the staff work at a busy period surely amazes me how quick the service was. Only feedback would be the strawberries and cream super shake ($17), the description sounded very appealing but it was not what I expected when it came. There was no red velvet cake but rather a pretty tough cookie and the chocolate ganache is smeared on the rim of the glass which tasted a bit old. Apart from that, will definitely be back again to try the other menu items!

Very welcoming cafe. Staff are attentive and menu is extremely customizable. There is a large selection of sandwiches and cakes and a healthy variety of lunch options and smoothies. I love the way they make the matcha, not many places have baristas that can do it right. Great selection of kid’s menu, family friendly.

Excellent service, staff were super friendly and helpful. This place has an incredible atmosphere and a wide variety of food choices. My kids loved and enjoyed the beautifully designed super shakes! Will be coming back here for sure!

Always liked this place. Super local for us. BEVS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN CONSISTENTLY GOOD. Fav caffeinated bev is almond mocha with vegan cocoa (have to ask for it) and shot of syrup. Fav non caffeinated bev is almond turmeric chai latte with shot of honey - BEST loose leaf TURMERIC CHAI you'll ever have! Really nice place for peeps who have dietary intolerances (gluten and dairy for us). One of the only cafes that have a delish selection of GLUTEN FREE, DAIRY FREE, AND SOY FREE CAKES! Manager Gina is very upbeat and accommodating. Once, our UberEats order had the wrong cake added to it. Called the store. Gina apologised, and said pop by when convenient for a free replacement. Did so and she gave TWO cakes! Amazing service. Shout-out to new trainee Alex too. He served us on a Sat around midday and was so upbeat and cheery, even though our bevs weren't super standard and it was the end of his shift. He did an awesome job and all with a great demeanor and smile. TOILETS have always seemed CLEAN too, which usually says something good about a cafe/restaurant's overall standard when it comes to cleanliness and hygiene. STAFF have always seemed pretty HAPPY too, which is also a good indicator as to the overall standard of service. DEF RECOMMEND

I've been to this restaurant many times, but today I was disappointed with the chicken schnitzel focaccia I ordered from Uber Eats. The chicken inside was the size of a finger。

This place is not worthy of your great presence. Don’t waste your time in coming here… I ordered a smoothie and it took over 45 minutes
And THE PLACE SMELLS LIKE THE DENTIST

Honestly one of my favorite places to get my coffee. The cafe has a warm and welcoming vibe. The music played almost makes you feel like the main character in your own life. Not to mention Gina one of the gals who work there is so warm and welcoming you’d be coming back! The coffee as well is just the perfect taste and hit to get you going in the morning.

Great place.
Try a kransky sausage, egg, ham and cheese toasted sandwich. Highly recommended

Had a great lunch at the Jolly Miller Cafe on Doncaster Road. Friendly and prompt service and a vegan menu section too! Superb selection of sweets. Highly recommended.

Good food, friendly staff, great coffee.
It's probably a good thing parking is restricted to 2hrs because one could easily spend longer here.
