One of the best brunch restaurants in Melbourne. Everything was delicious, and all the staff were lovely and kind during service.
The cozy ambiance and diverse menu options truly make it a standout brunch spot.

Great place, best breakfast in central Melbourne. You need to wait a little in line for breakfast (15-20 minutes)

Second time here and I didn’t think the second experience could top the first.but it did! The friendliest staff who went above and beyond. Coffee was perfect, food absolutely amazing. I’m counting down the days till I visit Melbourne again to come back!

Was looking forward to visiting a Melbourne brunch icon but was severely disappointed by the quality of the food. My baked eggs with chorizo was dry, lacking in flavour and a very small serving. The filling of the croque madame was mushy and soggy to the extent that it made the brioche quite wet with underwhelming flavour. Both were close to $30 each.

Coffees only come in a small size too, so a large or two shots would cost $11 which is ridiculously overpriced.

Overall, not worth the hype. Save yourself the trip and visit all the other cafes Melbourne has to offer.

The food & drinks are amazing, service could definitely improve. Looooveeeee the menu.

Great food, great coffee, great service and very elegant ambience. The open area is big and it can get a bit noisy when full but otherwise it was a great brunch experience.

Service was a tad slow. I liked the variety of the menu and found portion very generous. Quality of food and coffee was very high. I would definitely come back.

Easy menu. Weekdays morning didn’t wait for too long, my French toasted with matcha pannacotta was delicious! But didn’t see the dried lychee.the matcha latte was very small serve and bit too sweet. Bake eggs was good one to picked too. Weekend expecting to wait 30-40 minutes in the queues.

We were seated quickly after arriving Sunday morning for brunch. The restaurant is located in a fun alleyway or lane way as the locals call it. The restaurant atmosphere is fun and unique. The service was great and the food was excellent! Portion size seemed small when my plate arrived but it ended up being more than enough! Highly recommend!

Delicious food, very long wait to be seated. Make sure you go early to get in, otherwise you can be waiting for up to an hour to eat. They do not split bills, which is a little frustrating.however, considering they have amazing food, I guess they can be less flexible on the payment options.

It was busy when we got there so we waited in line like everyone else.
We waited a while so I decided to go in and this Asian lady was the first staff I saw so I asked her would she know how long the wait was?
She pretty much kicked me out. She told me and these were her own words 'I don't know. Go wait out side and the host will come see you'
I was shocked at how rude and dismissive she was. Mind you We were wait for a solid 10mins before I went in and asked. So we left and went somewhere else. They sure were more polite and welcoming that staff member needs training in people skills and customer service. You can't have staff like that working in hospitality. Busy or not, no one should be spoken to in that manner.

This cafe used to be one of the best breakfast places in CBD. However, it's getting worse and worse now. We waited for forty minutes for two dishes, food suppose to be good but we only got a warm beef cheek benedict and burned baked eggs. We were told the coffees were on the house after complaining but we found we still be charged when we review our bill after left. Extremely disappointed and will never be here again.

We ordered both types of eggs ben and they were good but the croissant was surprisingly stale for a French-inspired place. Just get the cooked food.
Service was good except for the water person who banged the bottle down on the table, but I guess it's not a fun job to fill bottles of water all day long

Hands down best baked eggs ever. I like deux delicious and no matter how many baked eggs I try I always compare it to this dish. Quaint little place, can get busy on weekends. Had an early appointment one day and cam eat around 730 in the morning and it was already fairly busy! One of the OG brunch places in Melbourne!

I was there around 9am on Saturday morning and we were seated right away without waiting.we loved the food. I ordered baked egg and my husband ordered salmon with scrambled egg and the portion for salmon was just alright not too big and not too small. But baked egg is not enough for me.

This little corner in the Melbourne CBD is one of the Strongly Suggested Restaurant to all my friends that visit to Melbourne!
Although there is always a long queue…but it is worth to queue up!
First of all… Foods are GREAT! The way it served, taste, serving potion…it's perfect!
Other than that…the atmosphere, services, serving speed are excellent…
Even it was full house when I visited…my meal was served about 10 minutes after the orders was taken…

I went with my fiance for Wednesday morning brunch. We only has to wait 5mins and the staff were very friendly. The coffee was on another level, smooth and tasty. The food was excellent, some of the best breakfast I've ever had! I recommend the rice pudding and pork belly with croquettes. Well done team, we'll be back!

I was surprised how much food I got! I ordered the pork belly and I struggled to finish it, even though it was incredible. There was a wait to get a table but I think it was definitely worth it. The food choices were so different than the norm and really well prepared.
