Nuna Hardrock will work you harder than the city Hardrock with a greater range of overhang routes. As an older gym Hardrock sadly retired on many old holds which are worn and less enjoyable than desired.

I recently took some private clients here.
The staff weren’t very on it. I witnessed many near misses of other climbers, putting my clients at risk. The staff were distracted. The routes and holds are old and tired, the kids didn’t enjoy themselves.
There’s a terrible smell when it gets hot.

Whilst at the gym I witnessed a woman, assuming she was in a management position, I believe her name was Sue, she was speaking so horribly to staff.
She was condescending and manipulative. I was appalled.
The vibes in here are so wrong. Not like they used to be!
Find another gym.

It was a great place to visit, The staff were super friendly and very helpful with everything to get you started.
Overall there's something for everyone there from beginner to intermediate and advanced climbers.

Went for first time with mates who are more experienced. Busy but staff went through the beginners safety drill and managed well considering. Earlier in the evening full of kids and young families but it cleared out at around 8.30, decent variety of difficulty and a great workout

Awe inspiring climbing centre. Friendly, and helpful staff. Plenty of variety in walls to suit beginners, to those people who can hang upside down by a nose hair without any tears.

Such a superb climbing gym. I learnt to lead here and have continued to be supported by the friendly and experienced staff.

Great staff, very friendly. Depends on the time you go as they can get extremely busy. They have many different courses of varying difficulty levels.

Staff and facilities were great, clear safety protocols and different forms cliff climb were testing for 13yr old. Worth every cent

Equipment was good and clean and staff were helpful.

Spent the afternoon there with the son and his friend. Helpful staff, not too crowded at the time and a variety of climbs to suit all the ages and skill levels.the only downsides is the parking is a cramped and no coffee.aimed at people who want to climb and exercise.

Very friendly customer service and the walls for a climb do not disappoint. Great experience overall! Can't wait to visit again

Great Rock climbing and lead climbing gym.
The boudlering wall could use some work for better routes but otherwise a great gym.

Great place for rock climbing or bouldering. Hardrock have been super generous with expired membership over covid

Good for height climbing for beginner adults and kids (6 and 10 y/o). Helps to give confidence at height, and good exercise. Like the routes (grades 10-14). Staff are great. Like the fact there’s no auto belays so everyone gets used to more useful manual belaying. You can get a coffee but there’s no food - because it’s focused on climbing and safety) Toilets could do with reno (20210703).

Variety of climbs, gets quite busy at times and with the limited number of climbs on occasion can result in having to wait.

Hardrock Nunawading is one of the best rock climbing places to go. The climbing walls are tall and have a range of difficulty on each one. Loved bouldering and climbing while making jokes with the belated. Awesome for people on ages ranging around 11 to up to the 50's. Will 200% be coming back.
