The Happy Apple reviews
21 Can't see the point of complaints around it being too expensive. It's a niche business and of course prices will be higher than one of the huge chains.
One thing though - All that asking for phone numbers is a huge waste of time and for what? 1% Just get rid of it and let lines flow quicker.
I'm having a little holiday with family members - a shopping trip to the
"THE HAPPY APPLE" was a very enjoyable and interesting experience. The displays of all the different grocery items are absolutely beautiful and interesting arranged. The Delikatessen section - an amazing selection. The X-Mas theme in full swing - you can not go past - without picking up various items. Even beautiful flower arrangements - ready to take home - catch your eye. I have travelled a lot - but this Supermarket stands out. Congratulations to the managing team and all the very friendly and efficient staff. Thank you.
An okay place if you like overpriced items.some staff seem nice and some go out of their way to ask you how your day is in the middle of the isle.and there’s this one girl at the checkout who has the most sour attitude 24/7.
Every time I shop there the deli hours don’t match their trading hours! The Deli has different trading hours, often closes early and opens late and these hours are not visible to customers.
Incredibly well stocked super deli with all your gourmet wants in one place. Feels like a little piece of Italy!
It's ok, good food variety. Incredibly high prices. It's a place for those random ingredients you need, but not a regular grocery store.
The Happy Apple is a local grocer that has a welcoming community feel about it. The fresh produce is top quality. It has an impressive range and the staff are friendly. Feel very lucky to have this as my local, amongst many other wonderful local businesses in Seddon village.
Seddon is much cooler than it used to be 20 years ago which is a good thing as it was a bit depressing. Now it is great but I live further away.
Upmarket local supermarket/grocer. Stocks lots of fancy stuff. New layout I don’t understand. Friendly service. Watch the price they charge against the advertised price….
Great variety of fresh, tasty fruit & vegetables.
Lots of speciality foods that are just delicious & must be tried!
Staff can offer recommendations on the different items to help narrow down to what would be most suited to your taste.
I'm disabled & the staff always happily help me with both shopping & carrying my shopping to my car.
Great speciality shop that promotes organic & locally made, highly recommend!
Well layout aisles, clean, well stocked with essentials but also a great choice of imported cheese.including the rare to be seen in Australia. Roquefort! A unique type of blue specialty produced in the Auvergne region of central France.the price is also quiet unique. $89 a kg.but hey.we are in Melbourne. Seddon.to be a one day gourmet is expensive but I enjoyed my golden few grams of French golden cheese. ($16). Oh, and the staff is very nice especially the friendly (And cute!) Cashiers!
Loving this new progressive super, great options for different food needs, mine being vegan makes life easier and more interesting
I like that they accommodate with different types of allergy sufferers. Nut free stuff is awesome. Girl on florist does not know her stuff. Poor front of house staff lazy chatty infront of customers. Females are the worst servers in the store
Great place to find specialised items, produce and great variety of good milk.
But check your receipt after, been overcharged twice.
The overcharge has now been rectified, but didn't appreciate having the run back to the store again in the rain.
Slightly too expensive, but worth it for those items you just can't find anywhere else. Fabulous, helpful and friendly staff.
This is a great little supermarket that stocks much nicer food than the regular supermarkets. Has freshly made OJ!
A little pricey in comparison to nearby grocery stores, but great quality nonetheless and super friendly staff.
Our first visit to get our favourite kimchi because Yarraville store closed. Great friendly staff here in Seddon too.
Love this store. Great quality produce and excellent variety. The staff are always friendly and extra helpful. Always an excellent shopping experience here.
This place has really turned around finally. After years of switching ownership and the same stale but overpriced products, the rename and new fit out have raised the bar. Always something yummy or exciting to be found. So long as you're willing to splash a bit more cash than your average Coles or Woolies.
