The Hamptons Bakery Cafe

I went to try bakery items and literally had to throw items out they were so bad. This is not a bakery, despite the label. It’s sugary, white bread that is not made well, nor with good ingredients. Supermarket items arguably better.

I hope people have better experiences at all la carte.

Chilli eggs and cold pressed juice in amazing setting, with passionate breezy easy service…great to watch people enjoy their work and perfect for Friday brunch on a day off.

I love the service and food here and I'm a regular but today they charged me $8 for an English breakfast with 2 sides of almond milk! That's crazy

The coffee was fantastic. The food was super yummy. Not much to fault about this place, the only downside for me was the service our waitress was not overly happy to be working.

Gunna call in again soon. Porridge and coffee great. Friendly staff all ok. I often use public transport to get to places, this establishment is walking distance from station.

This restaurant cum bakery is classy, expensive but positively gourmet. Wonderful meals and home made lemonade. Try the barramundi with greens and crispy potato. Great atmosphere suitable all age groups, licensed may need to book although during the day probably not. Recommend.

Excellent experience. Family of 6 with elderly parents. Greeted immediately with a pleasant smile. No booking necessary. Escorted to the ideal table straight away. Beautifully fitted out establishment. Staff were very attentive, accommodating and incredibly nice. The meals were delicious. We had the perfect afternoon. I highly recommend this eatery. The sourdough bread loaf is the best most authentic sourdough I’ve ever come across, sure it costs a million dollars per loaf, but it’s worth every cent.
And they offer a slicing service.
Lovely staff also.

This cafe is my go to & a fave. Consistently great service & the staff are really friendly. Consistently great food that never disappoints (except the fruit toast is a bit meh). Great coffee. Opening hrs are great being one of the few cafes open till 4pm. Highly recommend a cheeky takeaway pastry too.

The last two times we have been here no one comes to the table, even though they say they have table service. Waited ~20 mins before having to go to the counter. The woman behind the counter was grumpy. Seems to be going down hill.

The perfect brunch! Everything we ordered was fantastic, the cauliflower and the salad was an excellent combo, well flavoured and every mouthful was spot on. All the elements of the trout dish worked well- seasoned well and the bread was soooo good! Loved how spacious and open the dining area and the natural lighting of the venue, staff was also so lovely

Consistently great iced lattes, mocha's and baby chinos. The breakfast menu offers and tonne of variety and the staff are always upbeat, friendly and keen for a little chat.
This is still all true after 4 years of regular visits. Jewel in Hampton's crown.

The waiting time for lunch is unbelievable, we have waited 45 mins but haven’t seen the meal coming. Disappointed!

While my portion, for the cost of the meal, was excessive Hamptons Bakery was a really nice cafe, good staff, good food and a great atmosphere.

Amazing food. Amazing service. Brought my 2 year old and he had the kids “this & that” dish which was a plate full of fruit, toast, cheese & a marshmallow - super impressed! It’s so rare to find kids food that isn’t deep fried & unhealthy. Can’t wait to go back.

Was really excited to try this place after a medical procedure. Coffee and escargot was great but ordered the greens bowl and asked for no Fetta no eggs well done for health reasons and was supposed to only have pumpkin seeds - ended up with beetroot Fetta dip, greens with sesame seeds and other seeds and eggs under - wait staff just don’t listen and obviously don’t know their menu… very disappointed won’t be returning…

Love coming here every day! The team is always very bright and friendly! Love that you always feel welcomed here. Also let me just say the beef pie is to die for.seriously amazing beef pie & pastries. Coffee is always on par as well. Thanks hampton bakery! I will keep coming in everyday until I no longer fit through your doors! (because of your delicious food)

Came here for a Saturday brunch. Food was amazing and service was awesome too. Food came out quickly despite how busy they were!

Great choice for a weekend breakfast. Loved the service, great ambience and full sized portions!

Having recently moved to Hampton, we’ve been busy discovering the local cafes in the area over the last few weeks. Our trip to The Hamptons Bakery on Saturday did not disappoint. Despite having a line up out the door, the staff were super cheery & made the time to chat with each customer. They were efficient in their service and took the time to thank everyone on their way out. Their bread, snacks & coffee were delicious and some of the best in Hampton, but more importantly, their positive energy, friendly demeanor & amazing attitude will definitely have me going back. Lockdown hasn’t been easy, but these guys really know how to brighten up your day. Thanks for the great service and we look forward to coming back soon!
