The Hader Clinic Essendon

The cost of this place is disgusting. There are so many people out here trying to get on the straight and narrow but they have to wait months to get into rehab but then you've got places like this that have everything you need to get back on track but cost you an arm and a leg and you have to be on a 6 figure income just to afford it. Whoever is in charge here should be ashamed

I spent 2 weeks in geelong and 2 weeks in Essendon, both facilities were nice. The 28 day program was good although the 12 step program was not really something that resonated with me personally. If you take in as much as possible and really work the program it can definitely be beneficial. I found doing my own research and also working on CBT and other areas of my recovery were more beneficial. V and Ali were great recovery coaches and very knowledgeable and helpful. All in all the team were great and have all of the resources to help clients in need. At the end of the day you will still only get out of it what you put in.

What an amazing experience. First time in rehab, and as much as I could, I enjoyed my 90 days there. Very supportive staff, great program, reasonable facilities, made some good friends and connections in recovery.

My son was admitted here and didn't not last 24 hours! The place smelt bad, the room was basic, cold, minimal heating, uncomfortable bedding, very basic uncomfortabl facilities for someone going through a detox. The staff were very nice however not, much they can do about the poor quality of the facility. We paid $3500 and only received $500 back.they kept our money and refused to refund after a failed attempt intake! People on drugs have an illness they need to feel comfortable and safe, not one size fits all in treatment. This place needs to clean its act up and also stop ripping people off. Stay away!

I spent 60 days of my 90 day stay at Rehab at The Hader Clinic Essendon… I have to say that the support I received from every single person that crossed my path was absolutely AMAZING! I wouldn’t be the person I am today if it wasn’t for the support & guidance I received from the staff at Essendon. Clint - Clinic Manager, I cannot speak highly enough of. Clint is so supportive & understanding in every single way. Silvana - Client Liaison, I was meant to cross paths with this lady! A lady I will definitely cherish & hold close to my heart forever! The knowledge, support & understanding this lady has is an inspiration for me & has really helped me in my path for recovery. Ali & Steve - Recovery Coaches… WOW! A wealth of knowledge & experience also. These 2 guys will have a very special place in my heart forever also. These 2 guys supported me day in & day out in my 60 day stay at Essendon. I can say they have helped me become who I am today & really opened up my eyes on how I can now live my new life.
Anyone that reads this - if your struggling to decide on a place to go - This place is the place to go to get everything you need to help & support you in your recovery - after living a life in addiction. The program is suited to help addicts recover. Everything is there for a reason. As I was told the day I walked through the doors of the clinic - Trust the Process! The program works if you work it - you’re worth it so WORK IT! I cannot thank everyone enough. The best place in my eyes Much Love xxx

I have spent the last month of my recovery here and it has been a blast! The community is lead wonderfully by well-experienced staff, the support workers are amazing and, funnily enough great at supporting you! They are lovely to be around and honestly, don't even feel like workers. Just mates. I found the scheduled activities apart of the program to be of great benefit to my stay.

I really enjoyed the time I spent at Hader Essendon the support staff and management were extremely supportive and helpful through out my 90 day stay. The support I received is still part of my daily routine of learning about meetings and the twelve step program and learning about my addiction has helped with a greater understanding of how my addiction works. Thank you Hader Essendon for teaching me to live life on life’s terms and giving me a new chance at life.
