This is one cafe you would want to visit over and over again and still not get bored of it. I myself have been here multiple times already and love everything about this place.
Very uniquely designed menu and tasteful dishes. The staff is very friendly and the dogs have a great time too in the courtyard. Absolutely love it ️

Really good food. We came here for brunch. There is something for everyone. I had the scrambled eggs, cooked to perfection.

I could eat breakfast here everyday. Coffee, food, chilled atmosphere = an awesome start to the day. Excellent vegetarian options - the Baghdad eggs and Hare Krishna are two of my favs. Oh and the dog friendly courtyard is great for pooches! Thanks legends! (Before and after photos of our brekkies)

The Baghdad eggs were excellent! Rest of the menu seemed decent. Coffee we ordered wasn't quite hot enough unfortunately. The courtyard was a great spot to sit.

Came to The Guilty Moose to have brunch the other day.

On the day we ordered:
- How do you like them apples
- Getting all mushy and stuff add poached egg + smoked salmon + potato rosti
- Moose juice
- Summer fresher

First of all, loving all these unique name for the dishes. The french toast has nice flavour. The mushrooms on the toast was a bit too salty for our liking. The juice here is definitely a must order, super fresh and just enough sweetness.

My only regret is to have not visited this cafe sooner. If you're bored of the usual breakfast/brunch options at your favourite cafe, give this place a try. Such an unique menu and oh so tasty. We loved 'Baghdad eggs' and 'getting all Mushy' (mushroom dish). Bursting with flavours and unlike anything we have tasted in recent times. The setting is great too and there is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The icing on the cake was the coffee (maccha with white chocolate) which was so so good. All 4 items on our table were phenomenal and we can't wait to go back already. Special shout out to our server - Fiona! Amazing service and conversation.

I am very discerning when it comes to coffee. I have tried numerous high end cafes around Melbourne (many of which feature in the top 10 cafes in Melbourne)
The Guilty Moose, in my opinion, consistently creates the best coffees I have ever had. There is some slight variation in terms of the subtle flavours and notes that one experiences (ranging from nutty / chocolate to licorice). This adds just the right amount of variation to keep things interesting. All of them great!

I have not tried all the items on the menu, however, the Mooseburger and El Hefe are delicious

Delicious coffee in a warm industrial brick environment. Our kedgerees for lunch were super tasty too. Highly recommend!

Lovely café with excellent Turkish/Middle Eastern inspired food. Great coffee as well. Definitely recommend coming here.

For product quality and customer service, the best cafe in Albert Park, Middle Park, Port Melbourne and South Melbourne combined. Throw St Kilda in too for that matter.

Food is always amazing. Plenty of space at the back. Great coffee and service. Feels good to have this coffee shop next to the house. Highly recommended

I’ve never ever tried such good gnocchi in my life. I asked for a chicken ragout and it was just amazing. Also I’ve asked for a simple latte coffee, and omg.there was a very good fresh taste of coffee. Seriously, if you have plans to come to Melbourne, you must visit this place.

After walking a lot the whole morning and randomly search for a place to lunch, I entered this amazing cafe / restaurant.
I had the daily rice bowl, which turned out in an amazing rice dish with an amazing pork, such a delicious taste, I was really stunned!
And then I asked for a coffee, simple late, but seems that simple is a word that will never fit here. The coffee was fresh, fruity and creamy.
I cannot recommend more The Guilty Moose. I'm definitely returning here soon!

Delicious choices across the menu. Breakfast burrito was recommended by staff and it was super filling and flavoursome. The am I chopped liver was sensational. Amazing staff and well presented cafe. Coffee was good too and so were the juices.

We came as a group of 6 so we managed to indulged in a number of dishes, and all of them hit the spot. The Instagram famous apple pie spring roll was just as delicious as I imagined it would be. Chunks of lightly spiced apples were encased in a flaky pastry, and the creamy custard and crunchy walnuts provided the textural elements took this dish to another level of yum.

Not to be missed is also the Gingerbread French Toast. Another dish that was beautifully spiced and full of autumn-ish flavours. The soft and fluffy bread soaked up all the richness of the butterscotch sauce, making this dish perfect for any sweet tooth out there.

The savoury were just as tasty as the sweet dishes. The congee with the cute name of Hong Kong Phooey was a hearty and comforting dish that warmed me right up, and the roasted mushrooms was a gorgeous dish filled with earthy and nutty flavours. Even the simple cauliflower rice was an explosion of flavours, unsurprisingly since it came with cream cheese and smoked almonds.

Our coffees, and non coffees such as the matcha latte, beetroot latte and turmeric latte, were just as satisfying as the food. An all round amazing cafe that everyone needs to try out.

Carrot cake french toast! ️ And also, yes, it’s as amazing as it sounds already

FOOD: I got the ‘Wassup Doc? ’ which is a carrot cake french toast and if you look carrot cake or just french toast in general, you’ve hit the jackpot. The french toast itself was done to PERFECTION, so the carrot cake part is probably the cream cheese and actual carrots on top but the french toast itself is soft and fluffy but also moist at the same time! The dish was done to absolute perfection and it wasn’t too sweet which I definitely appreciated ️

SERVICE: Service was pleasant!

The Guilty Moose is clearly a local favourite because when I walked in, it was packed to the brim and I can see why The coffee is definitely something to shout about and I absolutely LOVE it. Definitely an amazing cafe!
