Having previously made one botched attempt to DIY returf I was keenly aware that I didn’t know what I was doing. Green Centre / Instant Lawn had all the online guides I needed so I could prepare such as digging out of the old garden. On the phone they took me through the type of Turf and Loam I needed, and then they scheduled the deliveries around when I would be ready so the turf could be freshly laid and fertilised. The grass is looking great!

Green centre delivered promptly, on time and driver was polite and helpful. I purchased Australian mulch which seems excellent. To date no seeds seem apparent in it, no weeds have grown and it looks lovely.

Highly recommend - asked to have the soil delivered at 7am and it got delivered then.
Their website is easy to use, buying soil was a breeze.would use again in future.

Very convenient delivery to an inner Melbourne townhouse. The delivery person was also happy to drop the soil off in place that was convenient for me, as I don't have a private driveway. The soil itself is much higher quality than what you get in 10L bags, rich with fine compost particles. Also I was able to buy the soil in a large enough volume that let me avoid lots of unnecessary packaging.

Highly recommend. If I wanted another large volume of soil that's both high quality and cheaper than the expensive bags from nurseries, then I would definitely get some more from The Green Centre:)

Great friendly service. They were happy to take the time to talk through options with a complete novice. The after care advice is great too. Highly recommend them to anyone who's considering a new lawn.

Absolutely cannot recommend this supplier enough. Terrific lawn product (we bought Sir Walter), we are so happy with our lawn which was delivered mid December, 4 weeks on and it has established beautifully! Great service, price, communication, and loads of info and support given. The delivery was on time, and the driver was terrific at completing the drop off without damaging our nature strip at all.

Recently purchased the botanical blend, English garden mulch and turf loam in preparedness for spring and have been immediately impressed with the quality.
Orders were delivered when requested and the drivers were more than happy to drop it where i needed.
Will most definitely be using the green centre in the future.

Great service and great product, there's nothing to worry about here in terms of getting dud mixes. The botanical blend has plenty of organic material and holds moisture well, and the dig in compost was steaming in the driveway.

Amazing service, great products and timely delivery. I had a very tight laneway that needed a significant amount of soil and turf delivered, and the team were always there to help work through any issues and get the job done. They turned up on time, delivered a great product and were always good to deal with both in person at site and on the phone. Would highly recommend for your landscaping needs.

I ordered some soil from the green centre last week and was very happy with the service and quality. The driver dumped the pile very neatly on the tarp I left out and the soil was perfect for top dressing our garden beds. Now all I need to do is try and get some plants in lockdown would use them again when it comes to mulching.

Only good things to say. The delivery driver was very nice and friendly, my mulch arrived in the window it was supposed to, and I got a curtesy text when it was en route to me. I can't downplay how all those things together make for a great experience. I'll use them again in future.

I ordered 3 cubes of dig in compost over the phone and organised for it to be delivered the next day. Received a text message notification when they were on their way, and had no issues with delivery to my driveway. The compost itself looks good, is well graded, and well suited to blending with degraded topsoil. Looks like a practical and economic option for improving garden soil.

Recently purchased 4 cubic metres of australian garden mulch.ordering and delivery were easy.it's a great looking product and seems to be easily the most affordable mulch around.there was some little bits of plastic wrap mixed in with the mulch so some customers may be put off.

Were notified of the delivery comming but wood was dropped without telling us they had arrived. The last company backed the truck into our carport, we weren't extended the same oportunity today. Now have 1 tonne of wood to move in the rain.
