The Grande Hotel

This was our second time visiting the Grande Hotel. First time was for dinner and drinks and this time we stopped by for cocktails on our walk home from dinner. We really enjoy the vibe of the hotel and the eclectic parlour/ bar is the perfect spot for a romantic night cap. The location allows for a nice evening stroll where you can enjoy what country living has to offer.

Went there for the Gnocchi Night. Melt in your mouth meal with good wines. We will be going back.

Highly recommend. Service was impeccable, cocktails amazing and a wonderful place to stay. Thanks Dominique and Sam for a wonderful evening.

The manager looked after our group so well, his knowledge of alcohol and cocktail making ability was impressive. They were short staffed but did a great job. Thank you for making my friends birthday a happy night.

An amazing place to say for a weekend getaway! The staff are locals who are full of wonderful recommendations. They helped us plan the perfect weekend!
Besides the rooms, the hotel has a number of common areas that are perfect to enjoy your morning coffee in, and the fireplace is to die for!

OMG best stay My sister and I came for 3 nights. The hotel was not receiving guests until Thursday but Nicholas made an exception. The place is beautiful. And the food is beautiful. The lounge and dining rooms so cosy. (music is beautiful) Dominic, Jessica, Sam. And the other lovely young girl (sorry forgot her name). Were so accomodating Stayed many times down in Hepburn but nothing compared to the beautiful serenity that I needed. Thank you so much guys. My photos are all on my Facebook page. We went for drinks. The bartender was amazing - describe the style you like and he'll make you a cocktail that's perfect.

This is such a gorgeous place to dine and stay. And sitting outside amongst the birds and river is just so peaceful. A Grande Hotel in an even grander location!

I hosted a retreat at the Grande Hotel this weekend for 15 women and had the most amazing stay. The accomodation was fantastic and facilities were just perfect. Our weekend was fully catered and the food was outstanding. We had a range of food requirements and every one of them was met without issue. Ian and Phillip were the most fabulous hosts and our group absolutely loved this venue. In fact, we loved it so much I am already planning retreats here in 2023.

Nothing was too much for the Host, he was courteous and helpful. The surroundings were calming and restorative. Breakfast and dinner were sumptuous, highly recommended.

My Mum and I stayed there over 55 years ago, seems like the place is just as good now! Great memories of going to the Church next door for Sunday School

My mum and I came here on a 3 night retreat with a group of others.
We were really impressed with the level of service provided by our host, Phil, and his ability to meet the groups demands with patience and a smile.
Also very impressed with the quality and volume of food we were provided throughout our stay, a lot of those in our group had complex dietary requirements which I can imagine were probably a bit of a headache to deal with, but both Phil and the chef on duty ensured all the unique needs were met.
Outstanding service, highly recommend staying here or booking a retreat here.

Wonderful place to stay. Close to all the Spa Centre attractions, quiet location and comfortable rooms. The food is superb.
