The Graham Hotel Under New Ownership & Management, Closed for Renovation. reviews
49 The Graham Hotel has become our family's home away from home and one of our favourite dining experiences.ever!
The food is superb and deliciously tasty. We have never had a questionable serving of anything on the menu.
The staff are highly professional, courteous, super friendly and incredibly kind-hearted to all of us, but especially my almost 93 year old father, Norman.
If The Graham stopped serving their Creme Brulee, I believe my father's heart may stop beating.that's how much he loves it.
Went to the restaurant for lunch. Ordered a seafood pasta. Multiple parts of the seafood clearly weren't cooked. Translucent and oozing fluid still. I showed the waiter and politely asked to see if kitchen could cook it. They took it to kitchen and returned it saying head chef Daniel was OK with. I've worked with seafood in the past and it clearly wasn't fine. It looked completely raw and nothing like the other parts of the seafood dish so the person I was dining with even warned me not to eat it. I left the pieces to the side and had to eat around it. Waiter said nothing at end of meal. Truly bizarre as I just requested for a few pieces to be properly cooked, no effort whatsoever.
We were also brought the cheque unprompted without asking if we wanted anything else so we just felt like we were being ushered out.
I used to come here regularly but food has gone downhill and both dishes were bland regardles of the health concerns.
They also now pressure you to tip at payment which is disappointing for a pub.
Great pub food. Nice being able to order a vegan burger with the lot. Spot on.
All a little on the expensive side but you are paying for quality service equivalent to a restaurant. Tap beer is perfect. I love craft IPAs & Pilsners but a great Carlton Draught on tap should never be underestimated.
Came here after a recommendation.
Nice modern decor and great vibe on entry.
We came for dinner Fathers Day.
A nice welcome from staff and drinks were brought soon after.
Tried the seafood souffle for entree, very nice.
The girls had some olives to accompany their cocktails.
For mains scotch fillet, lamb backstop and the biggest schnitzel l have ever seen.
All were extremely good along with 3 sides!
We shared 2 of the deserts, which were also very good.
Coffee was hot!
Service was great and would definitely return in summer to see how the amazing skylights and beer garden look.
ThanksTGH
Great food, excellent fish, options for vegetarians and the most delicious zucchini flowers.
I went here with two mates, we crossed knives and then cut into our Wagyu cheeseburgers, devoured with fries. The portions were generous and the flavours were many. Highly recommend this spot for any.
One of the best pubs to go to in Port Melbourne. Delicious food and friendly staff. Nice atmosphere too. Highly recommended
It is one of our locals and it’s great - The Graham gets really busy so suggestion is to always book!
Was there on a Thursday night and footy finals were on in the public bar …. It was very busy but we had booked a table
Food is excellent and staff always kind and helpful - some serves are really large so sometimes we share and have a few sides too
It is not a cheap pub but always really good food and therefore happy to pay restaurant prices - certainly worthwhile
No matter if u sit in the restaurant or the public bar it’s a warm atmosphere and on a warm night / day it has a great outdoor eating area on the street front
Certainly worth a visit
Dined at The Graham tonight (11/1/23). Mostly pleasant, staff friendly, atmosphere and set up ambient. Ordered eye fillet (medium) it was well underdone (refer pics). Partner ordered the porterhouse - he was very happy with his meal. To accompany we ordered the peach salad & roasted field mushrooms - they were tasty, rating the mushrooms as the hero. Regretfully the underdone steak fillet was not something I could eat. We also had two desserts tea /coffee. In addition, we also received chips with our meal and thought they were an accompaniment with the two steaks. Upon discussing the eye fillet with our lovely waitress she explained they were busy in the kitchen hence the error, & that they usually cook "medium" meat more underdone etc.they were attempted excuses nonetheless with pleasantries. At the end of our dining experience we queried the underdone steak and were advised the chef apologised. To compensate the Chips were removed and one dessert. Given we did not order any chips this was a weird gesture of apology - the
dessert worth $16 as opposed to a $49 piece of rare meat which could not be eaten. Nonetheless we would recommend The Graham but advise patrons give strict instruction relating to their steak prep. Pics included.
We have been twice with our kids and everything is just beautiful. First of all the staff are incredible- so friendly and nothing is an issue. The steak was perfect. Kids meal are excellent value-great portions and come with ice cream. Our new favourite place!
Food- delicious, steak cooked perfectly and crab risotto was beautiful. For dessert we had orange creme brulee and the rosewater panacotta - soooo good.
Service - outstanding, our waiter was attentive, friendly and just lovely.
Such an awesome venue.
Food was amazing, service was great and the overall experience was just awesome.
Will go back again soon!
Massive Parma. Good chips. Salad is s bit ordinary. Prefer slaw. Just me.
Staff are friendly and efficient.
Bread is a standout.
No extra cost.
Go here most weeks.
Bar is the way to go if like me you are dinning alone
Went here for lunch on NYD and the food, the wine, the service was all incredible. Really bright inviting space inside, the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Shout out to Scarlet who was our waitress who did an awesome job
Burgers in the bar are really tasty. A great place to have a drink and chat, as well as a great meal. Happy hour 5 til 6
A very nice pub. The interior us beautifully finished and modern yet comfortable. The staff were very obliging, courteous and helpful. The food is delicious with good portions. The menu is varied and there is a
simpler bar menu available which can be ordered from anywhere. We have had a meal outside with the dog under the table and one inside with friends. Both were nice experiences and I recommend the Graham for a visit.
The cheeseburger here should be in a list of Melbourne's best, new renovation is stunning and the private room for events is a great option, team have always been super accommodating!
Lovely place to have a lunch. Managed to have a separate quiet area for party of 8. Good selection of entrees, mains and desserts and had some tasty fish dishes. Also good parking! Would like to go back.
I celebrated a big birthday in the front function room with about 14 family members for Saturday lunch. The Graham was perfect! Great room, great food, brilliant service (well done, Andrea). We all loved it.
Lunch at the Graham was outstanding from the seared scallops entree, to the delicious flounder for mains and the very moorish gelati trio for desert. Great selection of drinks, friendly attentive service and tasteful decor.
