The Gordon - East Geelong Campus reviews
7Absolute rubbish experience so far, cancelled courses, cancelled classes, rent increase shortly after moving into res, terrible communication, no response to complaint.the list goes on.
Short Answer Questions specifically are legally under legislation which states they are about Underpinning Knowledge rather than answering each question “Correctly”.
Knowledge required is met within a Reasonably Adjusted Competency Based system of Grading.
Rules for Grading should be clear and not arbitrarily assigned after submission of work.
Michelle Alchin should not be allowed to arbitrarily declare a falsehood and use that as the basis of her critique, but she can get away with that under Corporate Law and within the corporate TAFE system.
This game involves Moving the Goal Posts with Arbitrarily Added Criteria.
Therefore, I cannot recommend the corporate TAFE system.
"Following procedures therefore undercuts the boomerang effect even when the procedures themselves are unfair in practice, as in the case of court battles between an unemployed individual and a large organization. "

Under Corporate Law, they can get away with using Arbitrary Rules and the Point Grading System used as grounds for resubmission of Short Answer Questions.
Our vision is occluded behind the Corporate Veils.
This is worsened when staff are Legally Gagged and cannot speak out for fear of "ruining relationships with the Funders".
I refer you to page 821 of the House of Representatives Standing Committee on Education and Employment:
“TAFE represents a country that believes in funding education at all levels: primary, secondary and tertiary to ALL Aussies. ”
That is what TAFE is supposed to represent.

The finance department at the gordon are so incompetent they cant even manage to keep to their own payment plans, and then provide no assistance whatsoever. All this so I can pay fees towards a course that we were basically told is useless (commercial cookery) and that we should look to join the industry directly.
Extremely helpful and very polite staff.
General education staff were absolutely brilliant.
I can't recommend them highly enough.
The campus is well maintained and has a few locations to sit in the sun/shade to study or just relax, surroundings of nice gardens and birds chirping.
Many opportunities for anyone
I'm not a big fan of mcdonald's but l do love the frappe gets me through service is quick
This is the best TAFE around in my opinion. I think it's because it's so old. The staff and everyone take it seriously.
