There was a bigger range of pasta dishes back in ‘99, but everything changes. Reasonable cost for decent feed.

Diploma of Remedial massage course that I have completed. The knowledge and skill I have learned at Gordon build me confidence at work. Derek and Dan are very supportive teachers especially their effort to delivery knowledge to me as English is my second language. The material that I have learned are all up to date at my current modern workplace at Richmond Rehab physio clinic as a remedial massage therapist.

I had one good course experience but then I enrolled in the diploma of nursing. Was the worst education experience I’ve had in my 40 years.

Do NOT send your appreciate hairdresser's to the Gordon!
It's well know with salon's in Geelong NOT to send students to the Gordon.
With the Gordon having the monopoly of training in Geelong there is not a lot of options unfortunately.
I've honestly never had to deal with a more incompetent and unprofessional organisation.

I've asked on many occasions for the teachers upto date certificate for teaching as I believe the teaching style to be incredibly out dated only to be ignored.

The students feel as the teachers are working against them and deliberately hold them back from progression in their carees.

The Gordon decides if the girls are 'to lazy' making them pay and resit units without any communication with the employer.

The Gordon loose the students completed work denying it being handed in.

The Gordon do not apply health care cards to students files, ripping off the students and the employer's.

The Gordon have their own added on units that are not in the core units for certificate 3 hairdressing adding months and extra unnecessary extra expenses to the certificate.

When I call the Gordon I'm on an extremely long hold and the call is ended without satisfactory results.

The Gordon is extremely unhelpful.

The Gordon is taking advantage of young people with no accountability when students drop out.

I just payed almost $6000 to put through an apprentice, in Melbourne the same course at headmasters is $700 with a healthcare card! $1900 without a healthcare card!

Re think choosing the Gordon for trades.
Re think choosing the Gordon for any education.

Caveat emptor
"Let the buyer beware"

Teachers should not be allowed to arbitrarily declare a falsehood and use that as the basis of their critique, but they can get away with that under Corporate Law and within the corporate TAFE system.

This game involves Moving the Goal Posts with Arbitrary Criteria.

Diploma of hospitality management a completely rip-off, It should have been named Diploma in Coffee training, my piece of advice look for another school otherwise you'll be investing 7k or more just to learn about coffee - I expected more from The Gordon School TAFE.

There is a massive problem within the hairdressing dept. You send your apprentices into the trade school to learn and instead they get approached by teachers (who have their own salons) and offered jobs. In some instances our apprentices have been poached after only being with us for under a year. Teachers are there to teach not use it as a recruitment office. When the gordon was approached about this, they didn't see it as a problem.
D O NOT send your apprentices here until they clean house

This is a late review. I did my English course in 2012 for 6 months.
I had very friendly teachers but unfortunately the course it was very bad organised in my opinion (I'm also a teacher).
For example, no books to follow, the speaking classes were about listen the teacher to talk (instead of us to practicing speaking).
I'm very frustrated today because I spent a lot of money with the course, the student Visa, the flight trips from Portugal, accomodation, to improve my English and I know that I could have learn much more in a good school with a good program to follow.
Hope that today Gordon has improved it!

I booked My PTE exam in this place. The best person or teacher i have ever met in my life Her name is Jessica. She helps us to enrol and set up for the exam. But the good thing is she is always smiling and motivating for the best and never stresses like they do in other exam centres. I Would definately recommend to book your Pte exam here bcoz Jessica will surely serve you the best and hope you get your desires score.good Luck!

I would describe the gordon as un organised and lazy.

I Did an apprenticeship through them. I signed up, paid and received my books. I completed them in time (a year later). I couldn't get a hold of anyone so I could get the ok to complete my first year and move on to the second. No one from the gordon got in touch with me or my boss for over 6 months! That's over 6 months of second year pay that I should have been getting. Finally they got in touch to let us know they weren't doing baking apprenticeships anymore and that we'd need to find another school. They gave a small refund of what the sign up fee I paid was but not even the full amount. I had to restart my first umyear study so nearly 2 years later I still am not on my second year because of the gorden.
