APPALLING! They took the wrong address from an ancient file despite me giving them the correct address twice. Then they cut off all phone calls to seek clarification or advice. The worst, most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had. Do NOT risk it.

Ordered a soda stream terra for my parents online. It came through next day delivery which was good, but they didn’t wrap it up in a box, so my parents found out what it was when it was supposed to be a present. Also the box was ripped at the bottom. I would have preferred it wrapped up and not torn

The premium delivery of appliances is definitely not worth anything. Half the appliances (like TVs) are excluded from unpacking and assembly which is not explained when you are purchasing this extra for delivery, the fridge delivered to us was not assembled properly, the delivery person was in so much hurry to leave in less than 5 minutes that failed to level the fridge, install the filters, or take half of the packing with them (which were all the reasons we pay for extra for premium delivery).
The staff response on the phone was even worse as they blamed their salesperson for not giving me information, saying it's not their problem as delivery was through a third party company, suggested I hire a plumber to fix my issues and basically saying it's not their problem. Eventually I had to spend an extra hour on the phone to take issues to store management who didn't really solve the problem but at least acknowledged that I had the right to complain and noted they will have a conversation with staff regarding their responses and ignoring my fair requests.

They sold me something which was not in stock n that happen in store not online.
And good thing about goodguys are they don't bother to inform you about anything.

The worst Good Guys I’ve ever been to. The one in country Victoria is brilliant whereas this branch is infested with just miserable people with bad personalities! One dude was yammering away on his cellphone while the other was chatting away to a chick trying to lose his virginity. I feel sorry for the owner!

We went to The Good guys to look at washing machines we were served by a man named Richard who was exceptional and showed us the time and Knowledge of washing machines we were interested in. 10/10 service and knowledge and couldn’t be happier with our experience

The northland good guys store should be called “No care for the customers guys” store. Between 3 customers in the entire store I was waiting for 30 minutes to find a sales guy to help me with my queries. Half of them were busy in their phones and just avoided interaction.

Went into store today with a friend and she purchased a vacuum. Staff at the front Jess and Louise were very helpful with the purchase and help assisting with a voucher that we were having trouble with. Great customer service, very kind and patient!

Top experience and smooth exercise purchasing items. Merci beaucoup to senior consultant for taking care of our requests. Always walk away happily after shopping here. Thank you so much.

Dealt with a wonderful lady here today called Melita… (hope I spelt that correctly). She saved the day by arranging an install of a dishwasher that had she not stepped in things could have gone astray.she listened to my concerns from having had some miscommunication and then worked to help me get the best outcome.we need more Melita’s in retail!

I've spent over 3K including installation for an aircon split system unit that is yet to be installed. Bought in early Jan 2023 and I'm still waiting for it to be installed - 3 months later! I will NEVER recommend buying an aircon unit from the Good Guys!:/

Really really bad experience.

Pay attention on the big guy promotion for Telstra Plan.

I had that on Mar. 2nd. He told me it will be the same as what I had. But in fact, he didn`t include my unlimited international call package.

To the end of the month I recevied a bill from Telstra which is $525.84.

I tried to contact Telstra through the phone, and went to Chadstone Telstra store. The online staff and store staff cannot figure out this issue. I have to drive to this Good guy store again.

The Good thing for me is the long hair gentlemen is very professional. Think his name is Patrick (he is a 5 star guy). He helped me to waive the early termination cost which is around $270 and provide me a clear explanation.

HOWEVER, I cannot go back to my original plan due to Telstra no longer had that. If I want to keep the same service/data usage, I need to pay $10 more every month. I have no choice but to change the plan to Vodafone.

The whole thing is a nightmare to me. I spent the full afternoon for this and end up with changing to another supplier.

My problem is, I shouldn`t agree with that big fella. I was busy that day and I don`t have time to check the new plan, so the correct way I should do is a NO to him.

I should be more careful.

I was about to sue them for misleading information and my loss when I was heading to their store. But thanks to Patrick. I feel much better now.

Just be careful when someone puesuade you for so-called cheaper plan. It may become a disaster as what I have experienced.

Honestly i brought few items from them, Northland store probably the worst, those sales person very grumpy, not helpful at all, i know a sales guy call Leo as i brought couple of fridges from him, when i called his name he looked at me and pretend not to know me, i go to Harvey Norman now, forget the good guy!

It’s being long time to find sales person like John P its not just sales person it is problem solver extremely happy from his service

Like two baby deer, my brother and myself stumbled into the good guys northland. Scared and alone we perused the toastie/grill aisle searching for the perfect Christmas gift. Nora, who unbeknownst to us had just clocked off, took 20minutes out of her own time to help us find the perfect gift.
We weren't perfect customers either, we "umm'd" and "ahh'd" but she stayed patient and, like a lighthouse in a storm, she guided us to the calm waters of a Christmas gift well received.

Shoutout to her friend who was waiting for Nora after her shift, she too had the patience of a saint.

Haier 8 kg top load washer and I can’t believe some of these bad reviews. This machine is fantastic, so easy to operate, easy to follow manual instructions. It’s does a beautiful wash, my laundry has never been cleaner. I am so happy with my purchase and definitely recommend this product. I guess some people just can’t be positive or happy. Also I have been a good guys customer for years, great service, great products at good prices.

I bought a washing machine from good guy preston 4 years ago with a 5 year warranty it started to break down 2 weeks ago i called the warranty people they were rude and didn't want to cover the washing machine so I called good guys preston spoke to Louise and stacy they were upset on how i was treated by the warranty people so they sorted everything out for me I received a new machine couldn't be happier with the customer service from good guys even the delivery guy was a gentleman he took the old washing machine and installed the new one excellent customer service all round highly recommend good guys preston
